Donnie allowed them to shake off the shackles of democratic norms and legality and pilfer as they please. Some day there will once again be a loyal opposition we can debate on issues, but know we both believe and support the same set of democratic principles. But not until this Republican Party is completely destroyed.

When Dems wrestle power away from them there must be a reckoning. It's going to be mean and ugly but it has to be done. And we will wrestle power away from these dictator wannabes. This isn't Russia or China or Myanmar. That's not in our collective DNA. 1.) The majority of the American people simply won't have it. 2.) It starts a little over 2 weeks from now. Those two things scare the shit out of Trump and they should.

He and his gaggle of jackasses will fight like hell to stop it. We need to fight back even harder. And if that means breaking the norms of American politics then so be it. No Merrick Garlands. No moving on. We cut out the cancer and destroy it.

You're right about no.1. The American people won't tolerate dictator wannabes, which is why if Democrats ever do have their "reckoning" the way you envision it, they're quickly going to find themselves out of power again.

Ron Jr. has been a Prog since before they switched from "Liberal" to "Progressive". I doubt that he supported, let alone understood his father. It doesn't surprise me that the Trump of Ron Jr.'s fantasies is pretty much the diametric opposite of reality.

In the real world, Reagan supplied Stinger missiles to the Afghans, helping them drive out the Soviet invaders. In that same real world four and a half decades later, Trump transferred to Ukraine the technology to build Patriot missiles and has been helping Ukraine with intelligence.

Funny how Ron jr. tells us the Republican party is illegitimate , but no thoughts on the Democrat party. If he actually fids no fault with his party, then who the hell gives a damn about his opinion.
