Well THIS is not uninteresting...

t has been postulated by Epistemic Crisis that Orangina is taking a medication called Ambrisentan. This is a medication designed to treat pulmonary hypertension. Many of you don’t receive his feed. I figured I’d comment because I’m off work today and bored out of my mind

Rather than me presenting what would undoubtedly become a criticized paragraph, please allow me to quote from Wikipedia:

“PAH is considered a universally fatal illness, although survival time may vary between individuals. The prognosis of pulmonary arterial hypertension (WHO Group I) has an untreated median survival of 2–3 years from time of diagnosis, with the cause of death usually being right ventricular failure (cor pulmonale).[97] The survival time is variable and depends on many factors.[98] A recent outcome study of those patients who had started treatment with bosentan (Tracleer) showed that 89% of patients were alive at 2 years.[99] With new therapies, survival rates are increasing. For 2,635 patients enrolled in The Registry to Evaluate Early and Long-term Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Disease Management (REVEAL Registry) from March 2006 to December 2009, 1-, 3-, 5-, and 7-year survival rates were 85%, 68%, 57%, and 49%, respectively. For patients with idiopathic/familial PAH, survival rates were 91%, 74%, 65%, and 59%.[100] Levels of mortality are very high in pregnant women with severe pulmonary arterial hypertension (WHO Group I). Pregnancy is sometimes described as contraindicated in these women.[101][102][103]”

He apparently gave away that he was being treated for this condition because he referred to what he thought his aspirin dose was as 386 milligram dose vs the usual 81 mg. 386 happens to be the stamped number on the Ambrisentan pill. He confused that number with the 325 conventional dose of aspirin. (Even people without dementia do things like that. ).

So I’m gonna guess with some assurance that he was diagnosed some time ago and given his general health, obesity, and kidney and heart ailments, I’d say that he’s treading very dangerous waters.

PCi, it's a shame you don't dwell on the source of your damning information. Why is that? Anyone can look up anything on Wikipedia if they need to.  Postulate is an assumption. It doesn't imply fact. Based on that, I find your post very uninteresting.

tsic has been postulated by Epistemic Crisis that Orangina is taking a medication called Ambrisentan. ...

Well, mildly surprising, "Ambrisentan" is an actual drug, and is used to treat "pulmonary hypertension". So PCIntern's source did not lie by citing things that do not exist. What PCIntern's source omitted to mention is that Ambrisentan is an orphan drug, so designated and subsidized by some governments because the condition it treats is so rare that no company could afford to make and sell it.

Also omitted by PCIntern's source is the symptoms of pulmonary hypertension: shortness of breath, fainting, tiredness, chest pain, swelling of the legs, and a fast heartbeat. While Trump may have "swelling of the legs", aka edema, that can be caused by various medications, including at least one used for high blood pressure. IOW, Trump's (presumed) edema would be too non-specific to indicate Ambrisentan use.

More to the point, Trump's level of activity indicates he does not suffer from fainting and tiredness, and his lengthy speechifying indicates he does not suffer from shortness of breath, fainting, chest pain, and fast heartbeat.

In sum, PCIntern's source lied by omission, and PCIntern hates Trump and hopes for his death too much to take a minute or two in W'pedia to factcheck the source's claim.
