Karoline Leavitt may go down as the best White House press secretary this country has ever had. Her exit last month stung, but now that she’s no longer behind the podium, she’s dishing about what happened behind the scenes, and what she revealed on Tuesday is a doozy.

Appearing on Sean Hannity's podcast, Leavitt pulled back the curtain on the briefing room and revealed how much of what happens during White House daily press briefings is just for show. According to Leavitt, reporters who hit her with loaded questions on camera would later come to her privately and apologize once the cameras stopped rolling.

“You name people that act one way when they're questioning you,” Hannity began. “They want their moment, right? They want their clip for the night so they get their time on the evening news.”

“Exactly,” Leavitt confirmed.

“And then off air they're totally different people. Do you find that a lot?”

“Yeah, that's true.”

“Would you say they're phony?” Hannity asked.

“Yeah, there's a performative aspect to the briefing room, in fairness, I think on both sides, right, but definitely with the press. And they have to do that because their bosses are demanding it. There's been times reporters have even said to me, ‘I'm sorry, I had to ask that today, you know, my bosses really wanted me to ask that.’ They know it's an unfair question, but they're not in control of their own livelihood. They are dictated by the editors and the execs at some of these companies.”

CLAIM: The illegal alien was ordered removed in absentia.

FACT: Yes. This is why aliens must show up to their removal proceedings. Legal obligations do not end because someone’s address changed.

CLAIM: This illegal alien is here legally.

FACT: This is false. This person is in the U.S. illegally. He entered illegally under the Biden Administration. The illegal alien had no valid work permit, had no protective status, and had a final order of removal from a Department of Justice (DOJ) Immigration Judge.

CLAIM: This illegal alien has received no pain medication.

FACT: This is false. This illegal alien is receiving medical care around the clock, including pain medication.

CLAIM: The illegal alien has been forced to sleep on the floor.

FACT: This is false. This alien was released from the hospital and arrived at the detention facility just a few hours later, where he slept on a bed. Aliens in ICE custody receive a higher standard of living than most prisons that hold U.S. citizens.

CLAIM: This illegal alien was indiscriminately targeted by ICE.

FACT: This is false. This illegal alien was the subject of a targeted vehicle stop. What makes someone a target for immigration enforcement is whether or not they are illegally in the U.S.

Resisting officers and evading arrest is dangerous for our officers, illegal aliens, and the public. We remind the public that resisting officers and evading arrest is a felony and a federal crime. Sanctuary politicians need to stop encouraging this dangerous behavior that puts our officers and the public at risk.

Shareholders Sue New York Times Over Egregious Anti-Israel Bias

Shareholders, finally realizing that the New York Times is little more than an antisemitic propaganda rag, are taking the outlet to court.

The National Center for Public Policy Research announced on September 23 that it, in conjunction with the State Board of Administration of Florida (SBA) and on behalf of the Florida Retirement System Trust Fund (FRSTF), filed a lawsuit against The New York Times Company. The purpose of the suit is to obtain corporate records related to the media company’s “oversight of its journalistic standards and the systems it says are designed to ensure accurate and trustworthy reporting.” Because as any of us could have told them, the Times has no journalistic standards or trustworthy editing.

The shareholders in question have spent months trying to look at the records they asked for through a method other than a lawsuit, but have failed to do so. While the Times has been repeating Hamas propaganda for years (e.g., the Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph of a supposedly starving Palestinian child that turned out to be a complete hoax), the particular trigger in this case was the infamous Nicholas Kristof piece that made extreme accusations against Israelis of sexually abusing Palestinians, while citing outright terrorist groups as sources.

As we all subsequently discovered, Israeli authorities had offered the Times their extensive report on Hamas and Palestinian sexual torture of October 7 victims and Israeli hostages not long before Kristof put up his “blood libel” piece. The Slimes — I mean, Times —  not only rejected the report on Hamas sexual atrocities, but also refused to publish Israel’s refutation of Kristof’s smears.

The National Center for Public Policy Research sees the Kristof scandal as part of a pattern, however, rather than an isolated incident.

American media have certain templates for certain types of news stories. Any time a black person is found dead by hanging, the default assumption is that it was murder, it was racially motivated, the killer or killers were white men, and no one wants to talk about it… as they talk incessantly about it.

When a story like this breaks, leftists automatically jump into a time machine and, for all intents and purposes, transport themselves to a time and place where fellow Democrats wore white hoods and “lynched” black people for no other reason than that they were black. The only glitch in the leftists’ time machine is that for some reason it mistakenly changes the political affiliation of the Democrat killers to Republican.

Not even two weeks ago, my colleague Benjamin Bartree reported on another viral story that once again proved to be based on unfounded assumptions that required leftists to ignore the actual facts involved.

“Squad member Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass., she/her pronouns in bio) came out September 10 with a banger of an X post, weirdly lamenting the ‘strange fruit’ hanging from trees — presumably referencing black lynching victims based on the context — across the country and ‘demanding a federal investigation NOW so we can stop modern-day lynchings,’” Benjamin wrote.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) jumped on the bandwagon with her own take on X.

X users, through Community Notes, quickly corrected AOC and Pressley, simply by reading up on the actual deaths, something the esteemed congressional reps failed to do. What they found was that, “While the letter cites 10 hanging cases in 2026, local law enforcement and medical examiners have ruled the majority as suicides, including the cases of Juliana Nzita and Kyle Bassinga. Only one case is currently being investigated as a homicide.”

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Police in Mississippi have arrested a second man in the death of a Black woman found hanging from a tree and have issued an arrest warrant for a third suspect.

Jackson police said late Tuesday that they arrested 25-year-old Earnest Lloyd Jr. in the death of 29-year-old Tasia Fortune, whose body was found hanging behind an abandoned home in the city on Aug. 3.

Like Fortune and the first man arrested, 51-year-old Jarques Ratliff, Lloyd is Black. He appeared at a brief hearing Wednesday in Jackson.

Fortune’s mother Christy Spivey, who attended the hearing, said afterward that she was ecstatic to see arrests made in her daughter’s death. She said that neither she nor several of her daughter’s friends knew Lloyd, and she cautioned that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. “My family is not the only family that this is affecting,” Spivey said of the defendants’ families. “I feel for them as well. The only difference is that mine can never come back. At least they can have telephone visits.” “I’ll never truly have peace,” she said

She's being called a “Palestinian Rachel Dolezal," in reference to the white woman who faked being black to take advantage of affirmative action programs.

Hannah Gann, a teacher in Philadelphia and well-known radical-left activist, was forced to publicly admit she was not who she claimed to be.

“I lied about my identity and have been lying for years. I have no Palestinian or Tunisian heritage,” she wrote in a self-aggrandizing apology on Instagram.

“I am a white woman of significant privilege and wealth. Anyone who supported me was manipulated and should not be judged as a result of their support for me,” she continued.

Gann takes self-loathing to a whole new level. And in the end, she was exposed by her radical-left colleagues: the Racial Justice Organizing Committee and Philly Educators for Palestine.

“Members met with Hannah and questioned her about her background on Thursday and after an hour of discussion, Hannah finally admitted she lied,” the groups told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
