It is time to thank earlg and a few others...

Back when I tried to start raising $ for Democratic politicians I used the name Democratic Underground without asking for permission. But then for several years I couldn't raise a total of $100 between them all. DU management didn't complain or take me to court.  The owners and those that run the DU over the years left me alone. I have always followed the rule on neutrality between Democratic candidates. That is the only rule I remember ever being discussed.

This morning the DU community crossed the over FOUR MILLION DOLLARS raised threshold. I never expected our fundraising to be so successful. I could not have done the current mid-term because my dementia is advancing. I asked for volunteers. Scipan and berniesandersmittens volunteered. Give them a hand!!!

Over the years our community has received several thank you letters. Bernie, the DNC, Biden/Harris. Senator Ossoff. And more. We earned them.

When I bumped into second gentleman Doug Emhoff, I mentioned the DU. He knew of us because of the fundraising. Photo below.

Naaa. He knew of DU because its well and widely known where the looniest of the party supporters are.

Argument 1: $4 million dollars is peanuts (less than that, peanuts got expensive) to your idols, especially spread out over however many years the DUmp is counting.

Argument 2: If billionaires should be putting their money towards the public good, wouldn't that $4 mil have been better distributed amongst the people instead of handed to the ruling class?
