DHS Identifies Murderer Who Killed California Woman As Indian Illegal Alien Released Under Biden

There is a startling development in the disturbing story of a California woman who was stalked and then killed by a man in 2023.

It turns out the alleged murderer was an illegal alien from India who was released by the Biden administration.

Rohit Rohit, 22, was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol after illegally crossing the border into Arizona in August 2023, DHS said. He was subsequently released into the country and remained in the United States until Tuesday, when Sacramento County authorities say he murdered a 38-year-old woman he had relentlessly stalked and harassed.

“This illegal alien from India harassed, stalked, and then killed a 38-year-old woman in California, and then took his own life when police caught up to him,” a DHS spokesperson said.

“This tragedy would have been completely avoided if it weren’t for the Biden Administration RELEASING this killer into our country.”

... Less than two months later, authorities say, he was waiting for her in the Panera parking lot.

Investigators said Rohit parked there shortly before 3 PM Tuesday, around the time the woman was being dropped off. He approached and began accosting her before she tried to escape, prompting Rohit to chase her with a gun and fatally shoot her.

Rohit fled the scene, but a witness photographed his vehicle and immediately called 911, giving deputies information that helped them identify and track him. Authorities also used the region's Flock camera system to locate the vehicle within minutes.

“Fortunately, a good witness, a good Samaritan, was there, saw it, took photographs of the suspect’s vehicle and called 911 right away,” Cooper said.

Deputies eventually confronted Rohit on eastbound Highway 50 at Watt Avenue, where he stopped his vehicle and became involved in a standoff that shut down the freeway for hours. Rohit ultimately died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said.

One year after Charlie Kirk, the Turning Point USA founder and president, was assassinated at a Utah Valley University event, the conservative organization reports continued growth in its campus chapters.

A one-year anniversary document provided to The Center Square by TPUSA Public Relations Administrator Lindsay Price details the organization’s reported growth during the 2025-26 school year.

The organization reported 3,500 Club America high school clubs, a 180% increase from the previous school year, and 1,500 college chapters, up 64%. Over a million students are involved with the organization, according to the document.

TPUSA also reported that more than 12,000 churches and pastors have joined its TPUSA Faith network.

Attendance at the organization’s 2026 Chapter Leadership Summit surpassed 2,500, double the 2024 summit. More than two-thirds of attendees said they became involved with TPUSA after Kirk’s death.

The commuter trains that run between the Normandy cities of Rouen and Caen - every weekday there are 10 of these scheduled, with six on weekends - are quite a popular transport mode and considered one of Normandy's 'principal rail corridors.' The 186 passengers on Friday's evening trip were no doubt just settled in for the familiar and comfortable commute home when the unthinkable happened.

I can't imagine the sheer terror as a few wild jolts suddenly turned into shattered windows, stones from the track itself rocketing inside, and, in one car, literally the world turning upside down as it rolled off the track onto its side.

The impact that caused the derailment was so violent that it knocked four cars off the tracks, dumped another on its side, and literally spun the locomotive around to face the opposite direction.

What was so puzzling to railroad officials on the scene was that another commuter train had just come through on that track a little over an hour before with no issues. Had driver caused this?

Well, he tested negative for drugs.

The answer appeared to lie on the tracks in what classic European understatement sounds like not much of anything - a 'fragment of rail found on the track' said the national French channel.
