What Reddington hopes comes next will either be a plea deal for an insanity commitment or a pardon. And yet, the misinformation campaign against him has been so heinous online that he is receiving death threats from people who side with his evil ex-wife.“Over the past months, Patrick Clancy and his family have been subjected to a relentless, escalating, and destructive defamation campaign,” his lawyer Howard Cooper revealed when speaking with Boston 25 News. “This campaign of misinformation has been launched and promoted by minor celebrities, so-called influencers, and outright conspiracy theorists who appear intent on boosting their own social media profiles and potential profit by publishing what they know to be outright falsehoods that Patrick was somehow involved in the death of his young children and other vile claims.”“This campaign, now fueled by insatiable media coverage, remains at a fever pitch and has resulted in real-life threats to his reputation, livelihood, and life,” Cooper said, referring to an increase in insanity after the mistrial. “Patrick has no choice but to address this situation – with the clear goal of stopping injurious behavior, creating accountability for lies that are self-serving to the perpetrators, and being able to return his attention to what matters: preserving the memory of Cora, Dawson and Callan Clancy and supporting other women facing perinatal mental health challenges,” he said. Cooper warned of legal consequences, and I hope there are some for those issuing death threats.
The ex-husband of Lindsey Clancy, Patrick Clancy, is threatening through his lawyer to pursue legal action against "so-called influencers" who have accused him of the killings and claimed he framed Lindsey Clancy for them. Patrick Clancy's attorney, Howard Cooper, said in a statement that the “relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign” has harmed his client's reputation and livelihood, the New York Times reported.
In an interview that aired on Monday morning, the attorney representing the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial spoke out about his client, Michael Desronvil, and the pushback he has faced in the wake of the mistrial. The Clancy trial ended with a hung jury in early September, with Desronvil being the only juror who wanted to find her guilty of killing her three children.Attorney Edward Paltzik told Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany regarding claims that his client had not followed reasonable doubt law during deliberations that Desronvil had “zero doubt,” and that the juror had “a mountain of evidence” to support his position. The remaining 11 jurors wanted to find Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity.Paltzik said that Clancy attorney Kevin Reddington was “off the rails” for accusing Desronvil of breaking the law during deliberations by making a false statement under oath, adding that Reddington “is clearly attacking the Sixth Amendment. He’s clearly attacking the right to trial by jury.”...He said that Reddington’s emergency motion filed just as a mistrial was about to be declared, suggesting that the holdout juror was biased against those suffering from mental illness, was “frivolous,” and that the motion “is a direct attack on the United States Constitution.”...He said he “100%” intends to file a bar complaint against Reddington, and that while it's early to talk about defamation lawsuits, “I can say this: Kevin Reddington’s conduct is not consistent with the standards of professionalism that we expect from members of the bar.” He added, “If you’re an officer of the court and you have taken an oath to uphold the United States Constitution, you’ve sworn to defend the Constitution, and then you get out there right after the trial and you attack a juror, but then you don’t stop.” He said that Reddington “is not behaving rationally anymore. This is nuts.”
