I also have never heard of her. Consulting W'pedia, she was a feminist writer and activist (some good causes, e.g. battered women and rape victims, among them). Like many leftist activists, her upbringing was of relative wealth/privilege. As feminist "inside baseball" goes, she was deep in the shower rooms. I doubt that many ordinary feminist-ish women know much of her.

Could have looked her/him/it up, but didn't really care. I'm certainly politically aware enough to recognize famous people such as Steinem, Fabares, Dolly of course, but it baffles me when the left talks glowingly about people such as Robin Morgan while 99.9% of the country have no idea who they are.
