I guess the DUmmy has conveniently forgotten about the cumulative 21.6% inflation during the four years of Biden, which has put our prices to the high level we currently have even with 3% per year under President Trump.
Because our family has lived in our home since the GWB Administration, we've been using the same gas stations. Getting to my point, the highest gas price (Regular, credit price) during LIEden's war on oil companies was the same as the highest price under Trump. The current price is 50-60 cents per gallon lower than LIEden's highest.
Eggs ... during the last 6-9 months of LIEden, there was a mass chicken cull, to contain avian flu. Eggs in that time - the last months of LIEden and the first months of Trump - were $12-$14 for an 18-pack, up from $6.50-$7.50. Once the hatchlings of that time period started laying, the recent/current price for an 18-pack fell to $3-$5 (over the past year).
