There is an ongoing severe acceleration of the mental and physical decompensation which was an expected occurrence.

Physically he is clearly relying on medication to perform on a daily basis. His face was dramatically reddened likely due to a stimulant which of course increased his blood pressure. His organs are failing and this would include his colon and he has lost complete control. It is wise to remember that the purpose of the colon is to absorb water from the waste material. If it’s failing, then the material passing through is liquid mixed with a fair amount of Big Macs and fries. Unfortunately for him, he is losing so much fluid that he is constantly thirsty and most likely drinking Diet Coke by the Jeroboam.

With the consumption of this volume of fluid, there is no question that his electrolytes are way off and this does not portend well for what is left of his kidneys. (and unlike his wife, he is not eligible for a “kidney” transplant).

His brain issues are accelerating as well: his inhibition is virtually gone, he now is using profanity without hesitation and is making up lies on the spot, many of which are not only not believable, they are impossible to actually exist. The supposed executive ordering of transgender reversals is an example of one. He is suffering from fairly advanced dementia which is also manifesting itself with uninhibited sexual references and likely behavior.

This extends to Ms Harp, who is his fantasy woman: she so physically resembles his daughter that if it turned out that she was a plant by a foreign power in a film, it might or might not be believable in a Hollywood fashion. The physical resemblance, especially to an individual who has lost higher function brain power, is uncanny. She is a combination of 24 hour caregiver, Electra-complex daughter, and obsessive fan. She is his perfection, his Jungian archetype, his lifelong wish, all granted him in his final days. Again, if you wrote the script, the Hollywood producers would laugh and say that this is closer to science fiction than a political thriller.
