We have been playing our birthdays in the lottery for over 30 years
Yesterday morning was busy. I forgot to check the Mega-Millions results until this morning. I checked the numbers BEFORE I had coffee. This is the most winnings we have ever had in the game. It isn't huge. But it will pay for the work on Marta's car that needs to be done. I'll be a happy man Monday when I cash the ticket.
By law, the Nebraska Lottery automatically checks for back taxes and child support on prizes of more than $500. No problem there. I just wonder how long the checks take.
So it is a drop in the bucket we have paid in. But we can sure put it to work.
