The White House is making preliminary plans in case Democrats win the House and/or Senate...

They know that everyone will be called to testify before Democratic-controlled Committees. Trump will give them orders to follow if that happens.

He will tell them to plead "executive privilege" and to not cooperate in any way with the Democrats. They will argue that it is all "political" and that Democrats are looking for revenge. They will argue that this "lawfare" needs to end.

In response, the Democrats should be ready to hold each of them in contempt of Congress. They should follow the same procedures that sent Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro to jail for contempt of Congress. They should challenge the "executive privilege" defense and compare it to the Nixon defense in the 1970's.

In my opinion, they should make their lives a living hell if they do not testify when subpoenaed.

Obviously Trump & crew have prepared for the possibility of the Dems winning one or the other House, because that's what Presidents with a quarter of a brain do (did LIEden even know without prompting that there would be a midterm election?). The planning would focus on strategy though. Trump & crew already have considerable experience manhandling sub-genius Dem pols' lies and snarks.
