always got readjustedcorrected downwards, sometimes more than once? Trump's readjustments follow no pattern, sometimes downwards, sometimes upwards. Come next month, there's at least a 50-50 chance that 23K loss will become a ##K gain.

Digging into the numbers, overall employment at the federal and state government levels and with local public schools, are all down for the past year. That means hundreds of thousands of workers are now available for more productive pursuits. The number of federal workers has dropped by almost 11 percent since last July.
