Remembering how when my Mum left, my Dad still didn't learn to cook or do anything else she'd been doing solo all those years.
I quickly taught myself to cook at age 10, using books from the library, as soon as I realised that every meal with my father was going to be a bag of frozen sausage rolls, plain toast, or nothing at all. By 13, I was cooking meals for him too.
And that's how male incompetence trains women.
This pathetic chica's mother walked out on her family when she was little, leaving her father to pick up the pieces, try to hold his family together, and keep a roof over their heads.
This is how this woman repays the man who stayed and did what a man does - take care of his family.
Her entire X feed is nothing but a man-hating vitriol fest. I am assuming all because she is still resentful that her father, after coming home from work, did not artfully prepare meals like Jacques Pepin, as her stay-at-home-who-left-the-home mother had once done.
The moral failing is obviously with the dutiful but cuisine-challenged father, and not the wastrel woman who walked out and abandoned her daughter to *checks notes* teenage years of frozen snausage rolls and toast, forcing this delicate flower to learn to cook.
This hardly needs comment - "Mother" abandons child, father struggled to keep a roof overhead and food on the table; ingrate daughter resents his inability to provide "better" food than frozen sausage rolls, etc., and ingrate daughter learned to cook, blaming her Father instead the "Mother" who abandoned her. My only addition is that since the "Mother" abandoned the daughter to the Father's custody, it's inferable or even obvious that she was not fleeing abuse.
