I don't know the nuances that make up various financial stats. But, Trump losing 75,000 manufacturing jobs isn't reflected in any stats I've seen reported on any news from  OAN to Fox to AP to NPR. I also don't recall Biden creating 625,000 manufacturing jobs being reported anywhere. I think the only place Biden could claim an increase was government jobs. And, that ain't manufacturing. Nobody over there questioned the source beyond Rattner. So, if anyone here can explain it, I'd appreciate it.

Let me guess: The supposed job growth under the Big Guy’s administration had something to do with the end of COVID lockdowns, and the Big Guy took credit for something he didn’t create, as he’s done multiple times throughout his life.

Good memory!!! Adding a bit of context, the return to work varied by states' government or gooberment, but the post-Covid-shutdown return to work started in the latter half of 2020, when Trump was President. LPC Noob TVguyCards lied by ommission. (S)He'll fit right in at DU, The New Liars Club.

If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

Good analysis above, kids. It is like pulling teeth to find accurate non-biased data such as this. MS-13 NBC and other leftist sites tout this 625k "created", but that is completely bogus. The jobs were NOT created, it was production ramping back up post-Wuhan. For the first year of this term under President Trump, the manufacturing jobs were cratering under Biden so the libtards automatically blame Trump.

After his 2nd (or 3rd for you conspiracy minded) re-election, manufacturing jobs ARE BEING CREATED. It takes months if not several years to build plants and factories to provide the jobs.

Snapshot and selective pulling of data without any reasonable analysis suggest you might be a left-tard. :bigbird:

My intuition says it takes time for economic policies to work (unfortunately, it's hard to pitch that to voters).

I also noticed that the graph posted by Rattner shows jobs starting to decline fairly sharply under Biden. It's curious why he didn't mention that. ::)

Guys, TVGuycards is right.

Brandon should run for a second term in 28 to get us back on the right track.

One Year After OBBB: The American Manufacturing Resurgence

https://pjmedia.com/chris-queen/2026/07/22/one-year-after-obbb-the-american-manufacturing-resurgence-n4955323

Quote
It’s been about a year since President Donald Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill into law, and over that 12-month period, we’ve seen the positive outcomes from the act. One of those is an American manufacturing renaissance.

A new report from the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) demonstrates how the tax cuts from this bill have spurred growth in manufacturing:
...
By NAM’s count, the Trump tax cuts have supported 6 million American jobs, saved $540 billion in wages for hardworking Americans, and contributed $1.1 trillion in GDP. “That's the manufacturing economy a permanent, pro-growth tax code helps sustain — and manufacturers are delivering on the promise,” NAM says.
...
From 11,000 jobs protected in Alaska to 708,000 jobs supported in California, every state is reaping the benefits of this unprecedented investment in the American workforce. NAM’s report gives case studies for all 50 states.

The One Big Beautiful Bill’s provisions aren’t just for large corporations. Even small businesses like Winton Machine Company in Suwanee, Ga., are seeing the benefits. The 38-employee company is able to reinvest in its operations and innovate in its industry.

“As manufacturers, our ability to reinvest drives job creation, advances new technologies and supports our communities,” says CEO Lisa Winton. “I am committed to continue to help drive innovation and invest in the future manufacturing workforce here in the USA.”

Louisiana’s Martin Sustainable Resources used the tax cuts, credits, and incentives to expand its facilities, upgrade its equipment, and make long-term investments. It’s planning for the future, thanks to these pro-growth policies.
