Despite the precedent of Carter being able to continue the operation of his peanut storage/distribution business while he was President and other Presidents doing likewise, Progs are trying to gin up fauxny issue over Trump’s decades-old businesses continuing to be profitable.

The Trump-Haters’ lie is that he is using the Presidency in some, unidentified way, to make those businesses profitable (even though they were during the Biden years).
