Democrat insider Alexis Podesta, 45, secretly recorded conversations during the criminal probe into Newsom’s then-chief of staff, Dana Williamson, 53, who pleaded guilty to federal fraud and tax charges in May, according to Williamson’s attorney.

The revelation she was wearing a wire as far back as June 2024 explains why a swath of Sacramento political insiders and lobbyists were stunned to receive FBI letters last fall informing them that their phone calls had been intercepted during the investigation — despite many having little or no connection to Williamson.

“Alexis wore a wire, and Dana did not,” said McGregor Scott, Williamson’s lawyer and a former US attorney for the Eastern District of California, which is now investigating the Newsoms.

Why, that would put the launch of this investigation squarely back within the #SpongeBrainShitPants regime. I wonder which Dim'rat wanted the documented dirt on Grabbin' Pondscum???

Former CoS Dana Williamson plead guilty to several charges. I assume she was arrested before being prosecuted. The FBI has expanded the investigation’s focus, and some transactions/“donations” involving Noisome’s wife’s “non-profit” are getting scrutiny. This expansion began under Trump, so still in progress. Keep in mind that “knowing” is not the same as “able to prove in criminal court beyond a reasonable doubt”.

This process started in June 2024, under President Auto-Pen. The interesting question is why. The stench was too great and about to burst into the open? Kammie wanted to get Noisome embroiled in scandal and out of her way?
