I think I'm done here...at least for awhile

I joined this website on November 13th, 2006.

I have always said "I was born a Democrat".

I have voted Democrat in every election I could vote in since I was 18 years old.

I am very proud to be a Democrat and would defend it's principles with my dying breath.

And...

I have never felt more out of place here than I have since the 2024 election cycle.

I'm not going into why because it's just not worth the discussion but I need to reduce the stress in my life so I am out for awhile. At least until the after the election.

Last thoughts before I leave:

Progressives are Democrats.
Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, West Bank and Lebanon.
Healthcare is a human right.
Billionaires are antithetical to a functional society.

Peace.

What, do you want your fellow DUmmies to beg you to stay? Nobody cares.

1. In the real world, for 4 or 5 decades Dems have been destructive wherever and whenever they ruled. And I'm ignoring the Dem-created KKK and Jim Crow laws.

2. In the real world, the Arab populations in Gaza, the West Bank, Israel, and Lebanon have been burgeoning. What kind of "genocide" causes/allows the supposed target people group to increase in number? Significantly?

3. Could you cite support for your claim in the US Constitution? Declaration of Independence? English Bill of Rights? English Declaration of Right? You are not God or Captain Picard, so your, "Make it so," means approximately zero.

4. In the real world, those billionaires became that by creating products and/or services that people want and employ many people to produce those products/services. How many social program dependents have created anything more than children taught to be social program dependents?
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

What functional societies today don't have billionaires?

Even the Scandinavian countries that the left would like us emulate have quite a few billionaires per capita.
