It's like that on this side of the country too. Montreal is a couple hours drive away and there's a ton of family ties between Vermont and Quebec. They know enough about US politics to realize the vast majority of us up here didn't do this.

It could be a complete fabrication - I wouldn't put that past DU. Or it could be true but misleading. Perhaps there were Canadians holding signs, but it might have been 4-5 of them.

There's a slight chance that it was an organized group on May 1st. I still think it is a false claim.

Many years ago I vacationed for a couple weeks in "The Maritimes".   Not all Canadians are down with their government and recognize their country is full of 'fruits and nuts.'  If only we could trade Maine for them.  ( and or or get Maine back on track)  I had great handout I received from one that was rather cute, it was a warning about approaching "Crazy Canadian Liberals".

Set me straight if I'm wrong, but I think a few populous Canadian cities wag the entire Canadian dog. At least some Canadians (looking at you, Alberta, ) are tired of being exploited for the sake of those few cities.

One of the many failings of public schooling, which I did attend and learned a lot. Leftists clearly have not, as I guess they think the only history book that matters was written by Howard Zinn or Saul Alinsky.

That is definitely filed under "Stuff that never happened." I'm from Seattle and have been to BC many, many times. The Canadian border guys are complete assholes even to Americans and would never in a million years let an illegal cross the border so "There's no ICE here" makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm sure there probably are some leftitsts who have fled the U.S., only to find that their new intended home country either a) wasn't as great as they'd been led to believe, or b) wasn't very welcoming.
