'You’re Horrible People': President Trump Torches Norah O’Donnell During Interview

https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2026/04/26/youre-horrible-people-president-trump-torches-norah-odonnell-during-interview-n4952231

Quote
President Donald Trump sat down with Norah O'Donnell for a 60 Minutes interview, and let’s just say that things got really uncomfortable for O'Donnell when the subject of the manifesto written by the man who attempted to assassinate Trump and other administration officials at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner Saturday night came up.

O'Donnell read aloud from the document, citing the shooter's apparent motive: "Administration officials, they are targets." Then she kept going, reading the gunman's claim that he was "no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes." She asked Trump for his reaction.
...
"Well, I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would, because you're — you're horrible people. Horrible people," Trump said.

Trump didn't flinch. He looked straight at her and said what a lot of people watching were probably thinking ...

"I'm not a rapist. I didn't rape anybody."

She tried to interject. He kept going, saying: "I'm not a pedophile. You read that crap from some sick person. I got associated with old stuff that has nothing to do with me. I was totally exonerated."

Then Trump turned the tables in a way that O'Donnell wasn't prepared for. He noted that the people most associated with Jeffrey Epstein aren't exactly on his side of the aisle.

"Your friends on the other side of the plate are the ones that were involved with, let's say, Epstein or other things. But I said to myself, 'You know, I'll do this interview, and they'll probably...' I read the manifesto. You know, he's a sick person. But you should be ashamed of yourself reading that, because I'm not any of those things."

Their Trump Hatred makes MSM-folk predictable. Trump agreeing to this "interview" was probably Trump setting up O'Donnell to expose what she is.

Melania Trump blasts ‘coward’ Jimmy Kimmel over ‘hateful’ monologue delivered days before WHCD shooting

https://nypost.com/2026/04/27/us-news/melania-trump-blasts-coward-jimmy-kimmel-over-hateful-monologue-days-before-whcd-shooting/

Quote
WASHINGTON — First lady Melania Trump savagely criticized ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel as a “coward” Monday after he referred to her as “an expectant widow” two days before Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting.

“Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America,” Trump, 56, wrote in a post on X.

The comic is facing severe backlash after the attack on the gala dinner, in which a Secret Service agent suffered minor injuries after a gunman charged a checkpoint in a bid to kill President Trump and others in his administration.
...
Kimmel, 58, mocked the dinner on his show on Thursday night, giving his own speech in which he said: “Our first lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.”

Melania is all class; Kimmel is 100% ass. Kimmel will probably be playing victim tonight.

Dem Mayday, Mayday: Voter ID Ballot Measure Qualifies for CA's November General Election Ballot

https://hotair.com/tree-hugging-sister/2026/04/27/dem-mayday-mayday-voter-id-ballot-measure-qualifies-for-cas-november-general-election-ballot-n3814335

Quote
I think this was slipping quietly under the radar in California for two reasons. For one, the Democrats are preoccupied with shivving each other in the back over the unintended consequences of holding a jungle primary composed of forty mudwrestling egotistical woke mediocrities.

While two sober, rational Republicans stand well away from the splatter being flung and look to slide gook-free into the top slots.
...
When state Dems are working against something that hard and that disingenuously - the SAVE Act - they're running cover for the operation they've been running.

And against all odds, a voter ID petition effort led by a hardworking California state representative, Carl DeMaio, has garnered over 960,000 signatures and qualified for the November general election ballot.

Quote
A "yes" vote supported this ballot initiative to:

* require voters to present a government-issued ID for in-person voting or provide the last four digits of a government-issued ID designated during voter registration for mail-in voting;

* require election officials to "maintain accurate voter registration lists [and]... use best efforts to verify citizenship attestations using government data” and to report each year the percentage of each county’s voter rolls that have been citizenship-verified;

* require the State Auditor to audit government compliance with these requirements during odd-numbered years and report “findings and recommendations for improving the integrity of elections to the public.”

This should worry the Dem rulers, as many Dem voters support voter ID. The Dems' strategy might be to simply tie this up in courts, IF it passes, until after November 2028.

California Wealth Tax Has Enough Signatures to Make the Ballot (Claim)

https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2026/04/27/california-wealth-tax-has-enough-signatures-to-make-the-ballot-n3814336

In order to get their wealth tax proposal on the ballot this fall, supporters had to raise nearly 900,000 signatures. Over the weekend, the union behind this announced they had raised more than enough to qualify.

Quote
The labor union backing a proposal to place a new tax on California billionaires says it has collected enough signatures to place the measure on the state’s November ballot.

Supporters have collected more than 1.5 million signatures on petitions that call for a vote on the proposed tax, according to a statement from the campaign on Sunday. The group backing the measure intends to announce on Monday when it will submit the signatures to elections officials.
