Gas prices here in the area I live in have dropped from $3.59/dollar to $3.46/dollar. Now that isn't a huge drop, but it isn't a continuing rise to where it was when Biden was in. So, if it keeps going down what are they going to yell about then?
I've seen a similar drop here, a week ago, from $5.40 to $5.26 (same station, 87 octane, credit price that I've been observing and paying for a couple of months). Looking at crude oil prices, the grade I've been watching on and off that had peaked at $115/barrel and had for several weeks been $103-$107, is, this AM, $83.85.
I think gas prices will be going down, more for DU-folk to "feel dirty" to admit,

. That said, the high percentage of domestic oil usage that cushioned the gas price rise, some, will also ease the fall. IF the Iranian situation continues to go reasonably well, I think that in a few weeks I'll be paying in the $4.40-$4.60 per gallon range
(my guess and a tenner will get you ...).
