The gunman in a shooting at Pauls Valley High School has been identified as 20-year-old Victor Hawkins, a former student, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations.

OSBI said Hawkins was taken into the Garvin County Jail on two counts of Pointing a Firearm, one count of Shooting with Intent to Kill, and two counts of Unlawful Carry.

OSBI said the school principal, Kirk Moore, noticed the gunman when he stepped into the school, and stepped in.

“The principal of the school had noticed that an adult male subject, 20 years old, had stepped foot into the school with a gun,” Hunter McKee with the OSBI said. “When the principal noticed this, he quickly stepped in as well as other school staff. The subject was able to fire multiple rounds where the principal was hurt, but no one else was. And the principal, as well as school staff, was able to subdue the subject before, obviously, other people were hurt, including students.”

The DOJ's Civil Rights Division has opened a criminal investigation into Cassidy Hutchinson, the former White House staffer whose 2022 testimony before the January 6 Select Committee became one of the most explosive moments of that entire political spectacle, becoming the left's favorite weapon against Donald Trump. The probe focuses on whether Hutchinson committed perjury during her televised June 2022 hearing.

In her words: "So when the president had gotten into the vehicle with [Secret Service agent] Bobby [Engel], he thought that they were going up to the Capitol. And when Bobby had relayed to him, 'We're not, we don't have the assets to do it, it's not secure, we're going back to the West Wing,' the president had a very strong and very angry response to that. Tony described him as being irate. The president said to him something to the effect of, 'I'm the f*****g president, take me up to the Capitol now.' To which Bobby responded, 'Sir, we have to go back to the West Wing.' He then reached up front of the vehicle to grab at the steering wheel. Mr. Engel grabbed his arm, he said, 'Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel. We're going back to the West Wing, we're not going to the Capitol.' Mr. Trump then used his free hand to lunge towards Bobby Engel."

It was quite a story, with a few problems. For one thing, it was ridiculous, but the Secret Service also denied it. None of the witnesses she spoke of corroborated her story. Heck, last year, even anti-Trump Special Counsel Jack Smith admitted he didn't believe her, and dismissed her account as "second or even thirdhand hearsay.”

That Pelosiroo's Kangaroo court did zero against her perjury demonstrates the profundity of the court's marsupial character.

Lou Raguse of KARE-11 TV (NBC, Minneapolis) has the report on Abdirashid Said, accused of an $11 million Medicaid fraud, fled the country a week before his scheduled courtroom trial.

And how did he get away? He posted a $150,000 unconditional bond. The judge did not make him surrender his passport. This, despite a previous conviction for Medicaid fraud.

The Israelis and their counterparts in Lebanon will take part in historic talks next week in Washington as a way to settle 80 years of enmity, not to mention the rescue of Lebanon from Iran's occupation. The government in Beirut began frantically signaling for direct talks with Jerusalem, the first ever, as a way to avoid yet another massive war initiated by Iran's proxies. Israel agreed to the talks but not to a cease-fire during them, but the Jerusalem Post reports this morning that Benjamin Netanyahu wants the French excluded from the talks:

Israel has refused to allow France to be involved in the direct talks between it and Lebanon, which are set to begin next week in Washington, two sources told The Jerusalem Post on Friday.

An Israeli official said that “France’s conduct over the past year - including initiatives aimed at limiting Israel’s ability to fight in Iran, and a complete lack of willingness to take concrete steps to help Lebanon disarm Hezbollah - has led Israel to view France as an unfair mediator.”

The Israeli decision follows growing anger over France’s behavior in recent months, particularly since the joint Israeli-American strike against Iran. France refused to allow US aircraft carrying weapons to Israel to pass through its airspace.

France has been screwing over Israel at least since 1967 and Charles de Gaulle. The "Israeli official" was way too diplomatic.

Eligible men will automatically be registered into the military draft pool by December as part of an effort to streamline the previous process of self-registration and save money.

The Selective Service System (SSS) — the government agency that maintains a database of men to be called up to serve in the case of a national emergency — submitted a proposed rule to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs on March 30, according to the office’s website.

Most men between the ages of 18 and 25 are already required to register with the Selective Service, but automatic registration was mandated in December 2025 as part of the fiscal 2026 National Defense Authorization Act.

Today's evibl Drumph gonna start endless war propaganda.  Seeing many moonbats reading this as the draft is back and people will be forced to go to Iran, when in reality it's just automating an already required process, so 18 y.o. don't have to go through that difficult process of going to the post office and filling out a card.  The left should be celebrating, I mean, they think minorities can't find their way to voter registration sites or driver's license offices, so this should be right up their alley, right?

How any male born after ~1960 could think draft registration ceased eludes me. Unless they decided to disobey existing law, of course.

Remember, we are dealing with a couple of generations with high percentages of not very attentive, aware, or intelligent people.  The commercials about "it's quick, it's easy, it's the law" during my Saturday morning cartoons made me aware of the requirement long before I hit 18.  Now if it ain't in their algorithms, most folks under 25 don't know it exists.

Democratic Maryland Gov. Wes Moore has embarked on a preemptive media campaign attacking his state's flagship newspaper, the Baltimore Sun, for a forthcoming investigative series that will allegedly scrutinize Moore's record.

"The Baltimore Sun used to be our paper of record," Moore told former White House press secretary turned MS NOW host Jen Psaki, whose time as President Joe Biden's top flack was marked by the cover-up of the president's mental decline. "It's now become the paper of the right wing."

Moore, a prospective 2028 Democratic presidential prospect, has taken a public beating in the wake of news reports from the Washington Free Beacon and other out-of-state outlets that exposed a litany of false statements about his family history, his upbringing, and his academic, athletic, and military achievements. Now, the Baltimore Sun, together with a local network collaboration known as Spotlight on Maryland, is getting in on the action with a series months in the making that will apparently examine whether Moore exaggerated his military and athletic accomplishments beyond what is already known.

Spotlight on Maryland managing editor Candy Woodall said Wednesday that Moore's team "warned" her privately in January that it would work to tarnish the Sun's reputation by sending "files to every media reporter" in the country if it continued its probe into Moore's military records.
