during my commute to work. Though his effusive expression of gratitude to God for the rescue of the WSO was a possibility, as was his warning to Iran with the Easter Bunny between him and a serious Melania seemed possibilities as well.
I think of Iran differently, somewhat. The civilization over which the Shah ruled came to its end when the Assahollah took power, and the Mullahcrats have been destroying it ever since, while creating their own civilization-surrogate. That is now ending, and whatever is rebuilt in its place may be very different; I think that is part of Trump's meaning.
Atepping back for a wider view, I think standard DC foreign policy has been to try to manage and sustain status quo. Reagan frustrated that by bankrupting the USSR. Israel disrupted that - with quarter-hearted aid from LIEden and full encouragement/aid from Trump - by demolishing Hamas and decapitating Hezbollah. Now Trump is upsetting Foggy Bottom's applecart with later year's strike on Iran's nuclear program and now the full-throated war on the Mullahcrats.
