Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) thought he was owning President Donald Trump by bringing an illegal immigrant to the State of the Union last month. The move was deliberate — a calculated piece of political theater designed to put a face on what Democrats call an "immigration tragedy." He wanted to make Marcelo Gomes da Silva into a liberal icon, the next Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Now it looks like a publicity stunt gone horribly wrong.

AMoulton had made a point of publicizing his invitation to bring Gomes da Silva to President Trump's speech. Sympathetic press coverage poured in. Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey invited him to tour her State House office. Moulton went on MSNOW and gushed that Gomes da Silva was "a great American," "a patriot," and "a reminder of what courage looks like."

There's just one problem. According to a report from the Boston Herald, the Milford, Massachusetts, police have two reports from 2021 that reference Gomes da Silva by name, involving sexual assault, and they won't let anyone read them.

Unsurprisingly.

An Indiana school district paid a Christian music teacher $650,000 to resolve his 2019 lawsuit challenging his firing for refusing to use gender-confused students' preferred names and pronouns, according to his lawyers.

A Supreme Court precedent three years ago on religious accommodations for employees prompted a chastened appeals court to reinstate and remand John Kluge's case for a jury trial, at which point Brownsburg Community School Corp. sought to settle.

In addition to the payment, the district will "train its senior staff on how Title VII protects religious employees against discrimination," Kluge's lawyers at the Alliance Defending Freedom said.

ADF didn't file the settlement terms, just the joint stipulation of dismissal, telling Just the News it couldn't share the settlement agreement. The Indianapolis Star also reported the alleged terms of settlement without attributing them to ADF.

"This settlement confirms what the law has always said: Public schools cannot force teachers to … bow the knee to ideological mandates that violate their religious beliefs," ADF Vice President of U.S. Litigation David Cortman said. "And schools should learn that refusing to accommodate religious employees can be illegal and expensive."

The laws and court decisions relevant to cases like this and other PS educrats' BS are not new or obscure. PS educrats and teachers are doing @#$% under the ASSumption that parents will be too intimidated or financially unable to defend themselves and their children.

President Donald Trump has legal authority to indefinitely suspend the admission of foreign nationals who are trying to enter the United States through its refugee resettlement program, a federal appeals court ruled on March 5.

Trump froze refugee resettlement programs as he took office in January 2025.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued the new opinion in the case known as Pacito v. Trump.

The panel overturned most of the injunctions that Seattle-based U.S. District Judge Jamal Whitehead issued in February 2025. The judge had blocked Trump’s move to suspend the refugee resettlement program indefinitely, finding the president had gone beyond his legal authority by pausing the program.

In March 2025, the Ninth Circuit paused most of Whitehead’s rulings in favor of the plaintiffs and allowed Trump’s policy to be enforced while the litigation played out.

There's a good chance that at least two of the three judges in this panel were Trump appointees.

You'd expect better from the United Kingdom, though. Well, at least up until fairly recently. After all, the Brits are supposedly America's closest, most reliable ally. Yet, in a stunning move, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer denied the use of his country's military bases for logistical support. Further, he refused to mobilize any forces for defensive operations in the weeks before Iran's missile and drone barrages began.

That proved disastrous, with several Gulf allies lambasting Starmer for hanging them out to dry, even as hundreds of thousands of British nationals were coming under attack.

According to newly revealed details about the British NSC's deliberations, the initial requests for base usage and the deployment of defensive assets (two destroyers, in this case) were denied for political reasons. Even when Starmer finally got in line, his fellow Labour members were more concerned with spiting Trump than stopping Iranian ballistic missiles.

Starmer was supported by John Healey, the Defense Secretary, but “Reeves and Miliband made it quite difficult for the Prime Minister.” The discussion came down to the legality and whether “a positive relationship with the United States of America was a good thing right now for the party. And many people concluded that it was not.” When asked what role the Labour defeat in the Gorton and Denton by-election played, because the Green party mobilized Muslim voters, a close aide of Starmer says: “Zero.”

But security sources are clear that Miliband, in particular, took a “petulant, pacifist, legalistic and very political” approach, questioning why the UK should support the US. “He fundamentally doesn’t like Trump, and he doesn’t like this Iran thing,” one says. As Labour leader in 2013, Miliband thwarted attempts by David Cameron to bomb Syria after the Assad regime used chemical weapons; many in Westminster regard this as a shameful episode. “He probably thinks it was a success,” the source adds.

Sounds like the hatred for Trump is in a more general resentment of the US. Perfidious Albion, but with no empire to support it.

1/6 reality is that it was not an entirely peaceful protest (ignoring the fraudulent MSM reporting of the 2020 Minneapolis riots), nor was it the insurrection Dems and their MSM-parrots pretend it was. In some areas, violence did happen; in many/most areas inside and outside the Capitol, it was entirely non-violent. Congress Critters were evacuated, but they were not in actual danger.

Why can't it be presented and taught honestly, if it must be taught at all?

BBC altered Hegseth speech on Iran war

The BBC mistakenly altered a speech by Pete Hegseth on the war in Iran, making him appear to say the United States was targeting the Iranian “people”.

BBC Persian, which broadcasts to audiences inside Iran, mistranslated remarks by the US secretary of defence, telling viewers Washington was bringing death to the Iranian “people”.

In fact, Mr Hegseth had said the Iranian “regime” was being targeted.

The mistake was seized upon by pro-Israel media campaigners, who claimed that it cast doubt on the BBC’s impartiality. It also triggered a backlash on social media.

"Mistaken" translation? Yeah, I'm not buying that bridge. This is the same BBC that doctored a clip from Trump's 1/6/2021 speech and is being sued for it. It's the same BBC, this was USA- and Trump-hating intentional.

The people spoke, loud and clear.

This may "inconvenience" plans that DA may have had to use the sheriff's department to harass Spencer or to hamstring his defense (e.g. use the department to withhold/conceal Brady evidence).
