UN Enters the War Against US and Israel

https://hotair.com/david-strom/2026/03/05/un-backing-iranian-regime-n3812551

Quote
Were it not for the United States' seat on the UN Security Council and its relative dependence on the United States for funding, the organization would be explicitly anti-United States, and even with its dependence on our funding and approval for certain actions, it has adopted the idea that Israel makes a good proxy to attack.

Over the past 10 years, the UN has adopted almost 100 more resolutions condemning Israel than all the rest of the world combined, so it should come as no surprise that, to the extent it can, it has entered the propaganda war against the Iran war on the side of Iran.

The UN Human Rights Council is condemning the US-Israel attacks on Iran, because of course it is, despite the fact that it is "investigating" the Iranian murder of tens of thousands of its own citizens who were protesting against the regime. The "Special Rapporteur" on Palestinian issues, Francesca Albanese, has shared AI images to condemn Israel.

Reason number ... I lost track decades ago ... why I support UNExit - the US from the UN and the UN from the US.

Video: UCSF staffer allegedly threatens to ‘hunt’ down and ‘kill’ conservative activist

https://www.thecollegefix.com/video-ucsf-staffer-allegedly-threatens-to-hunt-down-and-kill-conservative-activist/

Quote
A woman who appears to be a University of California at San Francisco employee was caught on video allegedly threatening to “hunt” down and “kill” a conservative activist who was protesting against cutting off the healthy body parts of gender-confused children.

Parents’ rights activist Beth Bourne told The College Fix she filed a police report after the Feb. 21 incident outside the California Democratic Party convention in San Francisco.

Bourne also posted a video of the confrontation Monday on X. Several commenters identified the woman as Madeline Mann, an associate director at the UCSF Clinical and Translational Science Institute.

The Post Millennial also identified the individual as Mann; it described her as a “transgender activist” who has a daughter who identifies as male.

Beth Bourne has been demonized as a hateful highly abrasive activist. She's probably "just" blunt and very vocal. I believe she lives in Davis, a couple hours from SF.

UCSF was founded to be California's main medical school. I am not exaggerating in saying that UCSF oncology staff, some 35 years ago, saved my daughter's life. That it has fallen to the point of supporting chemical emasculation and surgical mutilation is an outrage that saddens me.

Given how screwed up and violence-prone at least some trans are, this UCSF higher up threatening to kill a woman she disagrees with does not entirely surprise me.

A SCOTUS Decision so Unanimous That Justice Jackson Wrote the Majority Opinion

https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2026/03/05/a-scotus-decision-so-unanimous-that-justice-jackson-wrote-the-majority-opinion-n4950277

Quote
On Wednesday, the Court handed down its ruling in Urias-Orellana v. Bondi.  The ruling is a genuine win for the Trump administration and for anyone who believes that immigration law should mean something. And not only was Jackson, Joe Biden’s DEI hire for the Supreme Court, not the sole dissenter; she actually wrote the majority opinion. There aren’t even any concurring opinions.

Jackson held that federal appeals courts must apply a "substantial-evidence standard" when reviewing immigration judges' findings on whether an asylum seeker faces a credible risk of "persecution" if deported. In plain terms, that means a federal court can't simply override an immigration judge's decision because it sees things differently. The judge's finding stands unless the evidence is so overwhelming that no reasonable person could reach the opposite conclusion.

Quote
Jackson emphasized the high bar courts must meet before overturning an immigration judge’s findings, potentially making it more difficult for migrants to challenge their deportations as the Trump administration cracks down on illegal immigration.

"The agency’s determination… is generally ‘conclusive unless any reasonable adjudicator would be compelled to conclude to the contrary,’" Jackson wrote.

Confirmed porcine aviator sighting. This defines on what kind of basis a Federal court can overturn immigration law judges' decisions, and the bases are quite narrow. It may take a few Prog district judges getting smacked down before the ACLU and immigrant "rights" orgs give up on this tack.

Jury awards $2M in trial over wrongful death lawsuit against political donor Ed Buck

https://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/settlement-civil-trial-ed-buck/3857104/

Quote
A jury awarded $2 million Wednesday in the civil trial of a wrongful death lawsuit against high-profile Southern California (Democrat) political donor Ed Buck.

The brief trial started Monday and resulted in a verdict Wednesday, when a jury of five men and three women unanimously found Buck liable for the drug overdose death of Gemmel Moore in 2017 and awarded his mother damages.
...
Buck, 71, was convicted in 2021 of nine felony counts stemming from the overdose deaths of Moore and another man at his West Hollywood apartment. The imprisoned felon serving a 30-year sentence faced a civil lawsuit by the mother of Moore.

The wrongful death lawsuit went to trial Monday after Buck failed to finalize and sign a 2024 settlement agreement with LaTisha Nixon.

NBC deceiving by omission. Ed Buck's perversion was to set up a whatever-you-call-it with a black male prostitute and sexually torture the prostitute with drugs and whatever else sated Buck's sadism-of-the-moment. It included drugging the prostitute to the edge of death, and, well, two died, which is why Buck is in prison.

O'Donnell Suggests Trump's Military Operates like Hitler's WW2 Forces

https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/nicholas-spinnato/2026/03/04/odonnell-suggests-trumps-military-operates-hitlers-ww2-forces

Quote
On Monday night’s opening to The Last Word, host Lawrence O’Donnell, in his usual deranged fashion, decided to compare President Trump’s military actions in Iran to Adolf Hitler’s “rules of engagement" against Americans in World War II. He then implored Barron Trump and Donald Trump Jr. to go fight in Iran since Trump started the “burden of war,” without pointing out the Iranian uprising arose without the help of Trump.

O’Donnell opened his show with a vast display of opposition and rage to military operations in Iran. His outrage spiraled into comparisons of the US Military under Trump to Nazis, because Secretary Hegseth said they weren’t going to issue any of the infamously “stupid” rules of engagement he was subject to in Iraq and Afghanistan:

Rather than understand what Hegseth said and meant, O’Donnell leapt at the opportunity to pretzellate it into Trump = Hitler slander of the US military. Distinguishing between Hitler's blitzkrieg tactics would be easy, like shooting fish in a 5-gallon bucket with a Ma Deuce.

U.S. Helps Ecuador Launch Land Operation Against Cartels

https://legalinsurrection.com/2026/03/u-s-helps-ecuador-launch-land-operation-against-cartels/

Quote
The U.S. military assisted Ecuador with a land operation against cartels on Tuesday night.

I believe it’s the first land operation since the U.S. started striking suspected narco boats in the Caribbean and Pacific.

In total, the military has performed 43 strikes on boats, killing 150 people.

“On March 3, Ecuadorian and U.S. military forces launched operations against Designated Terrorist Organizations in Ecuador,” U.S. Southern Command wrote on X. “The operations are a powerful example of the commitment of partners in Latin America and the Caribbean to combat the scourge of narco-terrorism.”
...
A source told ABC News that the military only advised the Ecuadorian forces.

The military only provided planning, intelligence, and operational support while Ecuador prepared for the operation.

A few months ago, the USAF started some joint exercises at a couple of Ecuadorian bases. My WAG is that this was a deal in which Ecuador assisted with anti-smuggler efforts and the Maduro capture for US assistance with the takes down of a cartel that went so far a year or two ago as to assassinate a Presidential candidate. This may not be over, IMO.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but this is the first time the US has used one way drones, AKA, Kamikaze drones, in combat. It's called LUCAS, short for The Low-cost Uncrewed (Unmanned) Combat Attack System. It's a one-way attack drone developed for the United States Armed Forces by U.S. defense contractor SpektreWorks. It utilizes technology developed from the reverse engineering of the Iranian-designed HESA Shahed 136. LUCAS is similar in appearance to the Shahed 136, albeit slightly smaller at about 10 feet long and with a wingspan of about eight feet. LUCAS is designed to be mass-producible at scale for low cost compared to more expensive conventional munitions. U.S. CENTCOM revealed the cost of the drone to be $35,000 per unit.

LUCAS was first revealed in July 2025 and the first operational squadron was deployed in the Middle East in December 2025. LUCAS was first used against Islamic Republic of Iran Armed Forces targets as part of Operation Epic Fury in February 2026.

LUCAS has been positioned as a counter to low-cost drone swarms used by adversaries such as Iran and its proxies, as well as Russia in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

https://conservativecave.com/cave/index.php?topic=138426.msg1573126#msg1573126 . The wing and propulsion are based on the Iranian Shahed, but the payload is more sophisticated US technology.
