I'm torn
On one hand, we know that DUmmies lie. All the time, DUmmies lie. It is a verifiable fact of life.
On the other hand...
This account has elements which are all too true.
I grew up and spent 30 some odd years in minnesota, about 30 minutes north of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. I left about 24 years ago.
In that 24 years, MN has indeed become a shithole. There was a time when you could drive through Minneapolis or Saint Paul at midnight or later...leaving a concert for example, and never worry about it or your surroundings. Now, I wont even get off the freeway anywhere close to those cities when I visit. The criminal element, particularly since the saint floyd riots, is emboldened like maybe no other, and if you dare to defend yourself you'll be put through a process which is intended to punish at a minimum even if they can't throw you in a dark hole forever.
The state of MN has fallen a great deal since the days when Bud Grants Vikings played outdoors, and the worst things in the state were the mosquitos, the taxes, and the wintertime temps.
