When I first heard the name "Operation Epic Fury," I laughed.
I thought it was a bit of over-the-top satire. It sounded like some comedian doing a caricature of of(sic) what a "tough guy" President would want to name something... or perhaps the rejected title of a direct-to-DVD Steven Seagal movie.
Good grief, the line between parody and the Pentagon has officially vanished. My initial eye-rolling amusement turned into disgust pretty fast. We’ve reached the point where reality is parodying itself.
Heaven help us all.
Somehow, I think the Iranian Mullahcrats "enjoying" their 36 Helen Thomases know that "Operation Epic Fury" was and is not
over-the-top satire from a
comedian doing a caricature of ... a "tough guy". Iran's wet-docked navy, SAM forces, and missile/drone forces probably also know this.
Weirdly, the beheading of the Mullahcratic snake may be so far down the spine that Iran may not have national-level officials capable of negotiating something to bring the attack to a close.
