The Shocking Trump Reveal In the Epstein Files Is ...

https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2026/02/10/the-shocking-trump-reveal-in-the-epstein-files-is-n3811744

Quote
... Donald Trump snitched? Kinda.

In fact, Trump was one of the first in the Palm Beach socialite circle to urge police to intensify their investigations both Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. An FBI report from 2006 reveals that Trump notified Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter about both Epstein and Maxwell, calling her "evil" and urging police to focus on her role in Epstein's activities. Reiter told the FBI about Trump's tip in 2019 when the Department of Justice renewed interest in both Epstein and Maxwell:
...
Most importantly, Reiter didn't claim that Trump provided evidence of crimes in his tip call. He told Reiter that the two were "disgusting," Maxwell was "evil," and that police should look at Maxwell specifically. Nothing about that suggests knowledge of specific criminal acts; Trump was smart enough to recognize the risk and "got the hell out of there" before witnessing any such crimes.

While Homeless New Yorkers Freeze, the NYT Wants Us to Know This About Mayor Mamdani

It must be nice to be a Democrat. Having that magical (D) after your name means you can say and do the most vile things, and govern with gross incompetence, and the media will run interference for you. Just look at how Vogue gushed over Gavin Newsom, completely ignoring how the guy has driven California into the ground

In New York, not only are the streets piled with mountains of rat-infested garbage, but at least 18 homeless people have now died because of the cold.

In fact, The New York Times ran a puff piece about Mamdani and, ironically, his new winter coat.

Quote
As the first major snowstorm of his administration approached New York City, Mayor Zohran Mamdani needed to coordinate a citywide agency response.

He also wanted to find a new coat — one that was unassuming and modest, but still able to distinguish him while he addressed New Yorkers during the storm.

As married men dressing for important occasions often do, Mr. Mamdani sought the help of his wife, and of her staff. They chose the coat — a jet-black quilted “Full Swing Caldwell” jacket from the American workwear brand Carhartt — and tapped a local embroiderer to personalize it with a throwback city logo, said Noah Neary, a senior adviser to the first lady, Rama Duwaji.

“The mayor is hoping to chart a new course,” Mr. Neary, 36, said in an interview. “I think he felt that it also made sense to speak a visual language that felt slightly new.”

Fulton County Suing to Prevent FBI Examination of Ballots, and 40+ Boxes Missing

https://hotair.com/david-strom/2026/02/10/fulton-county-suing-to-prevent-fbi-examining-votes-40-boxes-of-ballots-missing-n3811746

If I were a more cynical man, I would think that the election officials in Fulton County have something to hide.

As a Pollyanna, though, I am certain that it means nothing at all that Fulton County is suing to stop the FBI from examining the evidence that could prove or disprove whether shenanigans that likely cost Trump the 2020 elections took place in that county.
...
Fulton County has spent years hiding the ballots, and even tried to destroy them well before the legal time requirement. The county has violated court orders to keep them hidden and has already admitted that they broke the law in how they counted and verified the vote totals.
...
Now that the ballots are in the FBI's hands due to a search warrant, Fulton County is trying to keep them from being examined, and will have a heck of a time explaining why the 40 boxes they claimed existed do not appear to be in FBI hands.

Transparency ... like red Georgia clay mud.

Teen athlete says she was sexually violated by trans wrestler – and the school district did nothing

https://www.patreon.com/posts/teen-athlete-she-150338658

Quote
Kallie Keeler has been wrestling her entire life.

The 16-year-old sophomore at Rogers High School in Puyallup says she's never experienced anything like what happened during a December 6 match with in-district rival Emerald Ridge High School.

A couple of minutes into the 190-pound bout, Kallie found herself face down on the mat – with her opponent's arm between her legs and fingers pressing into her vagina. Hard.

What happened – and didn’t happen – in the two months that followed highlights the extent to which public school districts in Washington state will go to to protect trans athletes at the expense of girls – and even at the expense of following the law.
...
As she waited for a break in action to inform her coach of what she felt like was an intentional sexual assault, a coach from an opposing team came up to her and told her something that would make the ordeal even worse.
...
To be clear, Kallie intended to tell her coach what happened before knowing her opponent was a boy. But now, she felt violated in more ways than one.
...
We emailed the Puyallup School District for comment on January 29.

The next day, the school reported Kallie's allegations to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office – nearly two months after district employees had a legal obligation to do so.

"This matter is currently under investigation. As such, the district is legally required to protect the privacy of students and families and cannot share details regarding individual students or specific incidents. What we can say is that student safety is a top priority and that all reports involving student safety are taken seriously," the district told us in an email on January 30.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to unDivided that it has launched a criminal probe.

"The School Resource Officer informed me he was called by the school to investigate a report of sexual assault at a wrestling match. This incident allegedly happened during the match between the victim and a transgender student the victim was wrestling at the time. Last week, the School Resource Officer reviewed a video of the match, and he will be following up with the victim this week for further information. This is being investigated and is still active,” Pierce County Sheriff's Deputy Carly Cappeltto told unDivided in an email.

This situation is still under investigation ... after delays. Some bigotry acts; some bigotry refuses to act with diligence, if at all.

That @#$% like this would happen - a male pretending to be trans to see and get at women - was as predictable as the Sun rising in the east tomorrow.

Oklahoma governor ends tenure at most public universities

https://www.thecollegefix.com/oklahoma-governor-ends-tenure-at-most-public-universities/

Quote
Declaring that Oklahoma has a duty to ensure tax dollars are used appropriately and wisely, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has signed an executive order that ends tenure rights for college professors at most of the state’s universities.

“University and college faculty play a central and irreplaceable role in educating students, advancing knowledge, mentoring future leaders, and shaping the civic and economic future of Oklahoma,” states the executive order signed Feb. 5 by Stitt.

The four-page order grandfathers in those who already have tenure and applies to future hires.

The state’s public research universities — University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University — may continue to grant tenure with the addition of post-tenure review and remedial actions allowed “for sustained failure to meet established performance standards,” the order states.

But the state’s public regional universities and community colleges cannot grant new lifetime tenure appointments, and future employments for faculty must be offered under “fixed duration and renewable term contracts,” the order states.

This will become a years-long part of a bunch of lawyers' careers. Ivory Tower occupiers won't take this lying down.

Why Experts Say Canada’s Plan to Ditch the F-35 Is a Strategic Disaster

https://nationalsecurityjournal.org/why-experts-say-canadas-plan-to-ditch-the-f-35-is-a-strategic-disaster/

Quote
Summary and Key Points: Canada’s military readiness is at a crossroads as Prime Minister Mark Carney reviews the Lockheed Martin F-35 contract amid escalating trade tensions with Washington.

-Expert Richard Shimooka warns that pivoting to the 4.5-generation Saab Gripen E would “institutionalize weakness,” burdening the Royal Canadian Air Force with a platform designed for a previous era.

-While the Gripen offers a 12,600-job industrial promise and avoids the F-35’s 55% mission-capable rate issues, critics argue it remains dependent on U.S. avionics. Choosing the Gripen could strain the NORAD framework, forcing a total reliance on U.S. air cover in the Arctic.
...
In response to reports that Ottawa is on the verge of siding with Saab, U.S. ambassador Pete Hoekstra warned that a pivot away from the F-35 would strain or “alter” the NORAD framework, likely forcing the U.S. to deploy its own fighters more often into Canadian airspace if interoperability is lost.

In the midst of his Hate-Trump tantrum, Carney probably views a strain on NORAD and the US being forced to deploy its own fighters more often as a benefit of a switch, because Trump.

Jasmine Crockett's vulgar 6-word message for Trump in Epstein probe

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/jasmine-crocketts-vulgar-6-word-message-trump-epstein-probe

Quote
Progressive Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, shared a vulgar six-word warning for President Donald Trump as Democrats continue to hunt for links implicating him in Jeffrey Epstein's crimes.

It comes after Ghislaine Maxwell's closed-door deposition before the House Oversight Committee in which the convicted Epstein accomplice invoked the Fifth Amendment to avoid answering any questions from lawmakers.

"We're gonna be on his a--," Crockett told reporters on Monday morning after the deposition concluded. "We have a 34-count convicted felon, and there are people that are still shielding him from any type of accountability as it relates to a child sex-trafficking ring."

She then pivoted to contrasting Trump's treatment with how House Republicans have handled the Clintons, who are also being asked to testify, though Crockett insisted it was not a partisan situation.

Looks like Dems may keep hypo-vehiculating their own in the fantasy hope that they'll find a magic silver Gotcha-Trump. Pathetic.

Jack Smith Accused of Circumventing Constitutional Safeguards to Secretly Obtain Senators’ Phone Records.

https://thenationalpulse.com/2026/02/10/jack-smith-accused-of-circumventing-constitutional-safeguards-to-secretly-obtain-senators-phone-records/

Quote
Republican senators are seeking explanations from several major phone carriers at a Senate hearing on Tuesday as to their internal decisions to comply with subpoenas issued by former Biden government special counsel Jack Smith as part of the Arctic Frost investigation. In his opening remarks, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed that Smith and his team appear to have purposefully circumvented constitutional safeguards to obtain the phone records.

Notably, several statutes require senators to be notified of subpoenas seeking certain records—including phone data—and these notifications can be waived only if the senator is the specific target of an investigation. In the case of Arctic Frost, the 20 Republican lawmakers whose phone toll records were subpoenaed by Smith were not specific investigatory targets, which Grassley says should have meant the lawmakers were to have been notified of the subpoenas.

“Smith and his team irresponsibly steamrolled ahead while intentionally hiding their activity from Members of Congress,” Sen. Grassley said at the start of the hearing, adding, “Smith’s deceitful conduct was a substantial intrusion into the core constitutional activity of constitutional officers.”

Instead of following the legal avenues and notification requirements, Grassley stated that Smith and his team instead sought gag orders from federal judges—mainly U.S. District Court Judges James Boasberg and Beryl Howell—to prevent the lawmakers from being appropriately notified. The Tuesday hearing seeks to understand the internal procedures used by Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile to handle subpoena requests—especially since, in the case of Verizon, the company was under a separate agreement that required it to notify the Senate Sergeant at Arms of subpoena requests pertaining to senators.

Much as Smith needs to spend time modeling ornge jumpsuits and practicing gang-shower soap-gripping skills, the long-term effect of phone service providers facing scrutiny may be even greater.

Swalwell’s Gotcha Question Backfires After ICE Director Drops a Truth Bomb on Him

https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2026/02/10/swalwells-gotcha-question-backfires-after-ice-director-drops-a-truth-bomb-n4949336

Quote
Rep. Eric Swalwell thought he had the perfect gotcha moment Tuesday. He demanded that ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons resign during a House Homeland Security Committee hearing. Instead, Lyons shut him down cold with a killer fact-check that exposed the California Democrat's phony outrage.
...
During the hearing, he questioned Lyons about his decision to remain director of ICE. "Mr. Lyons, your staying on to lead ICE is a decision," Swalwell said before rattling off a series of allegations of ICE abuses. Throughout the accusations, behind him was a picture of Liam Ramos, the young boy whose father abandoned while evading arrest last month. Democrats have falsely accused ICE of arresting and detaining Ramos.

"Considering your honorable service in the past, and the dishonorable acts that those who have worked for you have conducted, and the disgraceful statements that the leadership above you have said — you now have a decision," Swalwell lectured. He framed it as a choice: "Will you stand with the kids who you're supposed to protect, or will you side with the killers bringing terror to our streets?" Then the big question: "Mr. Lyons, will you resign from ICE?"

Lyons didn't flinch. "No, sir, I won't," he replied flat out.

"Why not?" Swalwell pressed.

That's when Lyons dropped the hammer. "Because, sir, that child that you're showing right there, the men and women of ICE took care of him when his father abandoned him and ran from law enforcement," he said, pointing to the photo of Ramos behind Swalwell.
...
“While other officers apprehended his father after conducting the arrest, my officers stayed with the child,” Marcos Charles, executive assistant director of Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), explained last month. “They cared for him, took him to get something to eat from a drive-thru restaurant, and spent hours ensuring he was taken care of. Again. My officers did that, not his father. My officers did everything they could to reunite him with his family.“

Will Dem Congress-Critters and Dem MSM-mouthpieces ever figure out that Trump's officials are informed, prepared, and very ready to push harder than they are pushed?

Swillwell's Chinese honeytrap fled back to China over a decade ago. Swillwell's judgment is as bad or worse than ever. Amusingly, Schifftyroo has endorsed Swillwell's goobernatorial run, :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: .

No. Those Democrats' whole self-identity is built around them feeling like they are the smart people in the room. Their egos will never tolerate losing a war of words with someone from our side.

Los Angeles Teachers’ Union Caught Implementing Anti-ICE ‘Resistance’

https://pjmedia.com/catherinesalgado/2026/02/10/los-angeles-teachers-union-caught-implementing-anti-ice-resistance-n4949342

Quote
A major Los Angeles teachers union is reportedly choosing to brainwash students into hating federal immigration officers instead of educating them, possibly even directly encouraging illegal behavior.

Defending Education released a report on Tuesday, February 10, exposing United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA) planning documents and materials that seemingly lobby for using school resources as part of a campaign to demonize and interfere with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers arresting illegal alien criminals. The union argued that the school resources can be a “form of resistance” against ICE when they are used to help “engag[e] students in community self-defense.” The union even wanted to offer “service learning hours” for borderline or outright illegal protest activities.

When UTLA referred to “community self-defense,” what it really meant was defying ICE. By the way, ICE is not raiding schools. If any children are deported, it is almost certainly because their parents are being deported, and illegal alien parents can choose to have their children come with them. The documents do acknowledge the possibility of school staff being arrested, which seems to indicate they have hired illegal aliens. Notably, EdSource states that the Los Angeles Unified School District’s (LAUSD) average for proficiency in math is about 36% and 46% in English
...
Teachers were supposed to lead “discussions with students” and provide “know your rights” training, a deceptively titled set of propaganda points that falsely assert illegal aliens have constitutional rights. UTLA planned to bring in unnamed agencies to discuss how to protect illegal aliens and how to organize to support aliens already arrested.

Defending Education explained:

Quote
Captured images of planning notes seem to advocate for the use of professional development time to “make door hanger immigration kits: w/ pro bono lawyers, affidavits, KYR, etc – distribute,” “engaging students in community self-defense – offer service learning hours,” using school budgets to “buy bullhorns, whistles,” using “security cameras to monitor” for ICE agents, and the use of “phone trees – rapid response/ communication at the school level” such as the “Signal App” to alert to ICE presence.

What the union proposes - and its members have probably carried out - is a gross violation of CA law against politicizing schools. Not that Noisome or Bonta would be likely to interfere. Public schools are approaching the point that teaching kids to read, do Math, etc. is an affront to Progs' Cause-of-the-Month.

Leftist critics hate 'Melania,' but the audience loves it | Opinion

https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/columnist/2026/02/10/melania-movie-reviews-rotten-tomatoes-score/88545838007/

Quote
If you needed an example of the disconnect between legacy media and the country at large, look no further than “Melania.”
...
The critics HATE it, giving it a lousy score of just 10%, according to Rotten Tomatoes (compare that with the 93% score critics gave the 2020 documentary “Becoming” about former first lady Michelle Obama).

Yet, the Americans heading to the theater to watch “Melania” have a vastly different takeaway. They’ve given it a score of 99%.

This discrepancy has broken the film rating site's 27-year record.
...
Think of the critic-audience divide on this documentary as a microcosm of the chasm between how the legacy media treats President Donald Trump and how much of the country views him.
...
“Melania” was released widely on Jan. 30 and, in its opening weekend, smashed expectations, earning at least $7 million. That’s the best opening for a documentary in more than a decade.

Jeff Bock, senior media analyst for Exhibitor Relations, told USA TODAY ahead of the film’s release that anything over $1 million would be “a huge number” and would indicate “a lot of folks who don't normally go to the movies went to this.”
...
I doubt the media will learn anything from “Melania.” But if they were willing to glean something, it should be that marketing to conservatives – and the 77 million Americans who voted for Trump – can pay off.

For a feature film, a $7M opener would be disastrous. For a documentary, apparently it busts through the charts' ceiling. It's easy to dismiss, it's just $7M; OTOH, it drew in an audience that would not normally be in a theater. So  . More telling, maybe, is the canyon between critics' comments, which were obviously knee-jerkingly Hate-Trump (some admitting not having seen what they denigrated), and comments from ordinary people who actually did see the movie (and might not be willing to lie-for-the-cause).
