The Shocking Trump Reveal In the Epstein Files Is ...

https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2026/02/10/the-shocking-trump-reveal-in-the-epstein-files-is-n3811744

Quote
... Donald Trump snitched? Kinda.

In fact, Trump was one of the first in the Palm Beach socialite circle to urge police to intensify their investigations both Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. An FBI report from 2006 reveals that Trump notified Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter about both Epstein and Maxwell, calling her "evil" and urging police to focus on her role in Epstein's activities. Reiter told the FBI about Trump's tip in 2019 when the Department of Justice renewed interest in both Epstein and Maxwell:
...
Most importantly, Reiter didn't claim that Trump provided evidence of crimes in his tip call. He told Reiter that the two were "disgusting," Maxwell was "evil," and that police should look at Maxwell specifically. Nothing about that suggests knowledge of specific criminal acts; Trump was smart enough to recognize the risk and "got the hell out of there" before witnessing any such crimes.

While Homeless New Yorkers Freeze, the NYT Wants Us to Know This About Mayor Mamdani

It must be nice to be a Democrat. Having that magical (D) after your name means you can say and do the most vile things, and govern with gross incompetence, and the media will run interference for you. Just look at how Vogue gushed over Gavin Newsom, completely ignoring how the guy has driven California into the ground

In New York, not only are the streets piled with mountains of rat-infested garbage, but at least 18 homeless people have now died because of the cold.

In fact, The New York Times ran a puff piece about Mamdani and, ironically, his new winter coat.

Quote
As the first major snowstorm of his administration approached New York City, Mayor Zohran Mamdani needed to coordinate a citywide agency response.

He also wanted to find a new coat — one that was unassuming and modest, but still able to distinguish him while he addressed New Yorkers during the storm.

As married men dressing for important occasions often do, Mr. Mamdani sought the help of his wife, and of her staff. They chose the coat — a jet-black quilted “Full Swing Caldwell” jacket from the American workwear brand Carhartt — and tapped a local embroiderer to personalize it with a throwback city logo, said Noah Neary, a senior adviser to the first lady, Rama Duwaji.

“The mayor is hoping to chart a new course,” Mr. Neary, 36, said in an interview. “I think he felt that it also made sense to speak a visual language that felt slightly new.”

There is great irony in Mamdani’s talk about “the warmth of collectivism”.

Fulton County Suing to Prevent FBI Examination of Ballots, and 40+ Boxes Missing

https://hotair.com/david-strom/2026/02/10/fulton-county-suing-to-prevent-fbi-examining-votes-40-boxes-of-ballots-missing-n3811746

If I were a more cynical man, I would think that the election officials in Fulton County have something to hide.

As a Pollyanna, though, I am certain that it means nothing at all that Fulton County is suing to stop the FBI from examining the evidence that could prove or disprove whether shenanigans that likely cost Trump the 2020 elections took place in that county.
...
Fulton County has spent years hiding the ballots, and even tried to destroy them well before the legal time requirement. The county has violated court orders to keep them hidden and has already admitted that they broke the law in how they counted and verified the vote totals.
...
Now that the ballots are in the FBI's hands due to a search warrant, Fulton County is trying to keep them from being examined, and will have a heck of a time explaining why the 40 boxes they claimed existed do not appear to be in FBI hands.

Transparency ... like red Georgia clay mud.

Teen athlete says she was sexually violated by trans wrestler – and the school district did nothing

https://www.patreon.com/posts/teen-athlete-she-150338658

Quote
Kallie Keeler has been wrestling her entire life.

The 16-year-old sophomore at Rogers High School in Puyallup says she's never experienced anything like what happened during a December 6 match with in-district rival Emerald Ridge High School.

A couple of minutes into the 190-pound bout, Kallie found herself face down on the mat – with her opponent's arm between her legs and fingers pressing into her vagina. Hard.

What happened – and didn’t happen – in the two months that followed highlights the extent to which public school districts in Washington state will go to to protect trans athletes at the expense of girls – and even at the expense of following the law.
...
As she waited for a break in action to inform her coach of what she felt like was an intentional sexual assault, a coach from an opposing team came up to her and told her something that would make the ordeal even worse.
...
To be clear, Kallie intended to tell her coach what happened before knowing her opponent was a boy. But now, she felt violated in more ways than one.
...
We emailed the Puyallup School District for comment on January 29.

The next day, the school reported Kallie's allegations to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office – nearly two months after district employees had a legal obligation to do so.

"This matter is currently under investigation. As such, the district is legally required to protect the privacy of students and families and cannot share details regarding individual students or specific incidents. What we can say is that student safety is a top priority and that all reports involving student safety are taken seriously," the district told us in an email on January 30.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to unDivided that it has launched a criminal probe.

"The School Resource Officer informed me he was called by the school to investigate a report of sexual assault at a wrestling match. This incident allegedly happened during the match between the victim and a transgender student the victim was wrestling at the time. Last week, the School Resource Officer reviewed a video of the match, and he will be following up with the victim this week for further information. This is being investigated and is still active,” Pierce County Sheriff's Deputy Carly Cappeltto told unDivided in an email.

This situation is still under investigation ... after delays. Some bigotry acts; some bigotry refuses to act with diligence, if at all.

That @#$% like this would happen - a male pretending to be trans to see and get at women - was as predictable as the Sun rising in the east tomorrow.

Oklahoma governor ends tenure at most public universities

https://www.thecollegefix.com/oklahoma-governor-ends-tenure-at-most-public-universities/

Quote
Declaring that Oklahoma has a duty to ensure tax dollars are used appropriately and wisely, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has signed an executive order that ends tenure rights for college professors at most of the state’s universities.

“University and college faculty play a central and irreplaceable role in educating students, advancing knowledge, mentoring future leaders, and shaping the civic and economic future of Oklahoma,” states the executive order signed Feb. 5 by Stitt.

The four-page order grandfathers in those who already have tenure and applies to future hires.

The state’s public research universities — University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University — may continue to grant tenure with the addition of post-tenure review and remedial actions allowed “for sustained failure to meet established performance standards,” the order states.

But the state’s public regional universities and community colleges cannot grant new lifetime tenure appointments, and future employments for faculty must be offered under “fixed duration and renewable term contracts,” the order states.

This will become a years-long part of a bunch of lawyers' careers. Ivory Tower occupiers won't take this lying down.
