It wasn't a huge protest, maybe 75 people...

It was cold but we’re Michiganders…what a little cold? Organizers didn’t want any injuries due to the weather so it was only a little over an hour long. West Branch, Michigan. Indivisible quick protest.
No pictures…mittens stopped that. I do have an idea to share though.

We were in the middle of making our signs and an idea struck…no signs. Using a little northern experience we painted some old oversized t-shirts I use for working in the field. Over our coats it was another layer of warmth and an easy way to get out the message.

The symbolism of it being so cold and wintery in their protest against 'ICE'...

Didn't Al Gore give a speech about global warming as it was snowing around him?

Well Al also said that it was going to be much warmer in 10-12 years from his speech and it's not way beyond that time.

Since West Branch, MI is a town of <2500 in the middle of a very rural area, I doubt the townspeople have seen many immigrants, illegal or legal. So the "maybe 75" (or maybe 40 or 50) were

I know he had/has a place in SF. Does he have digs on Long Island or Martha's Vineyard or Hilton Head?
