 DOJ is opening an investigation of the Federal Reserve Chairman over whether or not he lied to Congress about the cost of a building project…

But, the DOJ Civil Rights Division has been prevented from opening an investigation of an ICE agent who shot and unarmed protester in the face.

If you really want clarification you wouldn't look for it where the response is predetermined. You'd try to learn the reasoning driving each side in this conflict. But, you won't. FWIW, Honda specs the Pilot's weight between 4300 and 4700 pounds, depending on the version. An accelerating 2-ton-plus vehicle is assault with a deadly weapon when aimed at a person the driver knows is there.

Speaking of knowing someone is present, the Capitol Police officer who killed Ashli Babbitt had been in concealment until he stepped out to shoot her. She probably did not know the cowardly murderer was there.

If that is true, then she and her partner should be charged with child endangerment. Her partner didn't say a thing about a kid in the car and the first reports never said a thing about it. Also the ICE agent suffered from internal bleeding, so it was more than a love tap from a refrigerator door like the mayor claimed too.

The video taken by the officer who was eventually hit shows that there was a medium- or large-sized dog in the passenger-side rear seat.

Speculating semi-wildly, it may be that Renee and Becca hoped to come to the scene, let Becca out to take video, have Renee block the street - both of which they did - have Renee eventually get out of the car with the dog, and provoke a fight using the dog. Only Becca knows what was intended, of course, but Renee's actions and the presence of the dog are suggestive.
