I'm confused. I've been told all these years that people deserve Social Security because they paid into it. It's theirs.

If you pay into something and it's yours, why do you need other people - especially people who won't be using it - to pay into it for you?

1, For how many Congresses since Social Security was passed have the Dems controlled Congress and not done this. Physician heal thyself.

2. If the ceiling on the Social Security tax is lifted, will the ceiling on Social Security payments also be lifted? Or is this demand merely screw-the-rich economic envy?

SS payouts are capped. Remove the payout cap so that Musk gets $20M/mo once he retires.
