VIDEO: Obama Presidential Library is Really A Flakturm

So how did the Obama Presidential Library end up appearing as an ugly Flakturm (flak tower)? My theory is that the architect, who was familiar with Flakturm structures, presented the design to Barack Obama as a practical joke. He naturally figured it would get a big laugh from Obama and when they were done laughing, the architect would show Obama his real design for his presidential library. However, much to the astonishment of the architect, Obama absolutely loved the Flaksturm design and raved about it. At that point the architect could NOT tell Obama it was just a joke design since it would be too embarrassing to reveal Obama as a fool in the design department so they were stuck with the Flakturm design.

Hey, that's my theory but if you have a better one to explain how the Obama Presidential Library ended up with such an incredibly ugly chunk of cement Flaksturm design, I would like to hear it.
