Its getting harder and harder to make it on my SSI.

I was doing ok until stuff started needing replacing. $400 for new tires, $450 for new breaks, $350 dor my dog's vet bill, $400 to get the furnace fixed.

My food costs aren't too bad because there is just me and I don't buy any junk food or specialty drinks. "40 a pop for canned dog food for my IBD dog. $30 to fill my gas tank.

And I still have higher utilities and taxes and insurance.

EverywhereI go vital services are all higher.

December is always bad with much higher heating costs and my furnace is set at 60 most of the time.

Getting scary.

Who's fault is it your living just off SSI??? Lets not forget why things are expensive 2021-2024... Who was in the WH then DUmmie???

If SSI is your primary income source, then you are always going to be struggling with finances. Sorry if this offends.

24. Everything is getting more expensive. Just keeps going up with no help in sight. Drumpf is willfully causing much of it.

leftyladyfrommo seems, from looking over DUmpster threads in which she is mentioned, to be a chronic whiner/complainer. One of her whine-posts, from 2021, is about a Trump voter customer of her dog-sitting business who would be attending a political gathering where leftyladyfrommo was certain there would be unvaccinated attendees.

The thread topic aside, I wonder what happened to her dog-sitting business. Did she alienate too many customers with political talk? Was she taking cash-only, not reporting the income, and finally got a visit or bill from the IRS? Both?

She's 70ish, BTW ... as am I. She's on SSI, I still work full-time. Maybe she has a real, full, disability, which would suck, but given the DU context, maybe she does not.
