In my real world, when I picked up my daughter from SFO this past summer (2025), people of east, southeast, and south Asia, Hispanics, and blacks were flowing freely out from customs in the International terminal as if they didn't have a care in the world. And were being met by relatives and friends of similar ethnic background. It's almost as if they knew/know they have nothing to fear. There were white people as well, of course.
In my real world, the majority of people where I work are east, southeast, and south Asians plus some Pacific Islanders. They come and go from work as freely and care-freely as they did in 2023 or 2024. It's almost as if they knew and know they have nothing to fear.
In my real world, east, southeast, and south Asian people attend my church as freely as a year or 15 years ago, including several pastors of those heritages. It's almost as if they know they have nothing to fear.
