I just got done shopping for supplies for my truck at the Pahrump Walmart, and this is the god's honest truth:

12 Months ago, during the last days of Pres. Biden's Administration, what cost me less than $150.00, is now costing me a whopping $225.+.

For those RW lunatics and MAGAt's monitoring this site, that's a $75.00 increase since Pedonald was "elected" president, so, my ? to you is this:

Pedonald has had 11 months, going on 12, to improve the economy, bring down prices on every thing, yet, prices have only increased, especially in the red states, cities and counties, and, too my astonishment, (well, not really) you still continue to support this tyrant, so I ask,
 are you still supporting this ****ing criminal, loser?

Cooking a Thanksgiving dinner for your friends and family will cost less than last year, marking the third straight year of price declines. The American Farm Bureau Federation’s 40th annual Thanksgiving dinner survey provides a snapshot of the average cost of Thanksgiving staples that make up a classic holiday feast for 10, which is $55.18 or about $5.52 per person.

This is a 5% decrease from 2024. Three years of declines don’t fully erase dramatic increases that led to a record-high cost of $64.05 in 2022.
The centerpiece on most Thanksgiving tables – the turkey – dramatically decreased in price, which helped bring down the overall cost of dinner. The average price for a 16-pound frozen turkey is $21.50. That is $1.34 per pound, down more than 16% from last year. While the wholesale price for fresh turkey is up from 2024, grocery stores are featuring Thanksgiving deals and attempting to draw consumer demand back to turkey, leading to lower retail prices for a holiday bird.

Farm Bureau volunteer shoppers checked prices the first week of November. Grocery stores often feature whole turkeys at even lower prices in the days leading up to Thanksgiving.  According to the most recent USDA Agricultural Marketing Service data, the average per-pound feature price for whole frozen turkeys declined further during the second week of November.

As the article pointed out, in the 2-3 weeks before Thanksgiving stores discount turkeys. I paid $0.57 per pound for a frozen turkey less than half AFBF's price.

In the real world, the cost per gallon of gasoline has fallen back to what the price was - or lower - in December 2020, after years of Bidenflation.

Knowing DUmmies lie casually, I checked whether Pahrump, NV has a Walmart, and of what variety. Pahrump has a Supercenter, which means it has groceries as well as department store goods.

IOW, my post above about Thanksgiving grocery items is relevant. If MarineCombatEngineer bought food, the AFBF data shows that he probably lied.

I'm not a big-time Walmart shopper - I'm not sure what year it was that I was last inside a Walmart* - but we did buy the Rustler brand (Wrangler's off-brand) jeans I'm wearing quite a few years ago, possibly pre-Covid (they're low price, but fairly durable). Anyway, years ago Walmart's online price was $15. Looking at Walmart's current price, it's $15 (I expected $17 or $18, because of passing time).

* Access and egress for the Walmart nearest me is awful, so I very seldom go there. I have nothing against Walmart, but Lucky, Safeway, Kohl's and Target are easier.
