Appreciation thread for Aftyn Behn

She exceeded all expectations is a shitler +22 district. She stayed true to her progressive democratic messaging until the very end and showed that you don't have to move to the center to do good or even win, deep red districts.

IT ALSO PUT REPUBLICANS ON NOTICE THAT AN R +10 OR +15 DISTRICT IS NO LONGER SAFE

In less than a month, the DUmmies will not even recognize that name.  She was a useful tool, a temporary morale booster. They'll simultaneously find a new shiny object of outrage in the Orange Cheetolini universe and fall ga-ga in love with dozens of more Democrat Socialists who will be running in the midterms next year.

As usual, it sounds like Democrats are spinning this as some sort of moral victory because they want people to think it was some huge achievement, rather than because that’s what actually happened.

News flash: It’s not weird that a Democrat overachieved in an off-year election.
