Former Rolling Stone editor Matt Taibbi is critical of the conservative movement, but he seems to be mostly fending off attacks from his side of the aisle. Despite being a dyed-in-the-wool liberal—that’s not enough for today’s Democratic base which is unspooled.

Taibbi was an original Russian collusion skeptic on the Left, which didn’t earn him much praise from his side, but his writings against the censorship complex, which included Twitter, has mostly been directed at Democrats. Look, the man calls balls and strikes; he’s fair. But in today’s liberal circles, that’s one step removed from full-blown neo-Nazism. 

That said, Taibbi is not having any of the ‘don’t follow Trump’s illegal orders’ nonsense, calling it another shoddy propaganda ploy by the Democrats that reeks of the Russian collusion hoax:

It's such blatant, bad, overwrought propaganda ... It reminds me again of the beginning of Russiagate when there were all these leaks about encouraging people not to share intelligence with the United States. 

That made Trump look bad, but it also made the United States look weak and vulnerable and sent the signal that the country was in schism and maybe the government was not stable.

It is very possible that this Hate-Trump attack was not self-contained, but was a strike in preparation for more attacks designed to hamstring Trump in some way.

U.S. Military to Use Confiscated Chinese Drones for Target Practice.

The State of Florida has found a use for the estimated 500 Chinese drones it has confiscated. Next month, the drones will be used by the United States Military for target practice during a three-day training exercise the Pentagon calls the “Military Drone Crucible.” Scheduled to begin on December 4, the United States National Drone Association (USNDA) is billing the event as “the largest counter-drone destruction event ever held in the United States.”

Rather than simply destroying the Chinese drones, U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM)—which is headquartered in Tampa, Florida—will use them to train American soldiers on the use of shotguns and other weapons in anti-drone combat. Small, inexpensive drones have seen significant battlefield use in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, leaving many of the world’s most powerful militaries scrambling to adapt.

Counter-drone tactics are also becoming critical to American border security. In March, Border Patrol chief Mike Banks issued a stark warning to Mexican drug cartels over the use of drones in their drug smuggling operations. “We have seen cartel-on-cartel violence that involves drones. We prepare and train to be ready to fight the enemy on any ground,” he said, adding: We’re impacting the cartels’ ability to make billions of dollars.”

Developing and training in anti-drone tactics is a very worthwhile use of these confiscated drones. While the value of the targets saved from being droned more than balances the cost of an anti-air missile, 20 mm, .50 BMG, 5.56 NATO, and shotgun projectiles cost far less and are far more plentiful.

Tom Homan: ‘Hold on Tight, We’re Tripling ICE Deportation Operations’

Laura Ingraham spoke with Border Czar Tom Homan about the scale of ongoing immigration enforcement operations and the agency’s plans to increase personnel in the coming weeks.

Homan said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is preparing for a major expansion that will triple the size of its enforcement and removal teams.

Ingraham noted the rapid pace of activity since the start of the administration.

Homan responded by pointing to both the hiring surge and the results already recorded.

“Then come put a badge and gun on and give us a hand. ICE is hiring record numbers,” he said.

Homan added that current enforcement levels have surpassed historic benchmarks.

Bottom line is, I just said just about 650,000 deportation. That is several 100,000 more than the record that was back in 2012 so it was already historic operation.

Second of all, you got to consider the people who have left the country out of fear of being deported was over 1.6 million of them. So there’s well over 2.2 million left the country already. And that’s been the part of plan from beginning.

But hold on tight. We’re hiring 10,000 more that’s going beyond duty by mid January. That’s tripling the size, tripling the size of enforcement, move operations. Should we think the numbers are historic now wait till next year.

He Talked About TDS on Television. Now He's Getting Death Threats.

A psychotherapist recently went on Fox News to discuss Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) and described how many of his patients are suffering from the mental health condition.

Now he is receiving death threats, which shows that TDS is not only real but could be dangerous. Jonathan Alpert, a therapist and author, wrote an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal in which he discussed how many of his patients cite President Donald Trump as one of the reasons they are experiencing mental health problems.

During a prior appearance on Fox News, he said about 75 percent of his patients suffer from the condition.

People are now upset with his comments, according to Fox News Digital:

Alpert shared with Fox News Digital several messages he said he received via text and email over the past week.

"Eat s--t and die you racist fascist piece of s--t… f--king uneducated MAGA scumbag," one message read.

"Pedophile protector," another said.

"You're a lowlife, worthless fraudulent piece of s--t pedophile who decent people hope is slaughtered, and the video is posted to YouTube," a third message read.

Salesforce, a software company with more than 75,000 employees, became the latest firm to announce it will no longer use the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “hate map” to determine eligibility for its employee giving program.

In a 2022 blog post, Salesforce had stated that it uses the SPLC list “to identify hate groups and keep hateful material off our platform.” That same year, Salesforce’s productivity app Slack banned the Federation on American Immigration Reform, which the SPLC condemns as an “anti-immigrant hate group.” While Salesforce says it doesn’t rely solely on the SPLC for such decisions, it had directed Benevity—a corporate giving and employee engagement platform—to exclude recipients on the SPLC “hate map.”

After facing pressure from The Heritage Foundation, which owns stock in the company, Salesforce announced that it has directed Benevity to stop using SPLC to screen nonprofit recipients of employee contributions.

As for the illegal orders stunt, I may be completely off base, but I told my wife the other day that their illegal orders video was a subliminal psyop type thing.

First, the DemonRat overlords and their propaganda arm (consisting of most of the MSM and many celebs) constantly call Trump Hitler and evil and a fascist, say he wants to be a dictator, and claim he can’t do what he’s doing because it’s wrong. With that, they have a little seed of doubt in the mind of some people (including some military members).

Then you have DemonRat overlords who have served in the military or intelligence community make a video that, on the face of it, is just telling people what the already know (that you should not obey unlawful orders) but, in actuality is watering a fertilizing the seed of doubt that was planted earlier. With some people who are not legal minded, that’s apt to lead to this thought process when a a completely legal order is given that he or she isn’t completely comfortable with…

Well, they say that he’s evil and a fascist and everything he does is wrong, and I’m just not comfortable with this order so it’s got to be illegal. It’s my duty to not obey it.

And the DemonRat overlords can play innocent and say that they didn't tell anyway to disobey legal orders.
