A Pre-Emptive Strike By The Democrats

They say it is the kicked dog that barks.

In a surprise announcement via an ad, the Democrats advised the military that they did not have to follow "illegal" orders. Their emphasis was on the word "illegal".

Trump reacted like the dog that was kicked. He barked and bellowed that those Democrats should be hanged for sedition. His usual lack of awareness was apparent when some noticed that he pardoned several Jan 6 rioters that were charged with "sedition". But, it is OK when he does it?

But, there is probably much more to the story. He does not want the military to question any of his orders, legal or illegal, In fact, he probably has plans on the table to use the military in a questionable or illegal manner. The last thing he needed was Democrats telling "his" military which orders they could follow?

In my opinion, we will discover in the next few days or weeks that he was ready to launch a new military maneuver with the military. In fact, the world is questioning at this very moment his bombing of boats off the coast of Venezuela. Neither he nor his Secretary of Defense (War) has offered any evidence that they are killing drug smugglers, as they claim. Furthermore, even if they are drug smugglers, he does not have the authority to randomly kill anyone. There are ways for nations to handle these problems.

Yes, he is angry. And probably for a reason?

I don't know where kt got that saying about the kicked dog. Maybe it's a regionalism from a different part of the US than where I live. I think that in real life a kicked dog is more likely to bite back, as Trump did.

In the famous Sherlock Holmes story, the key clue was that a dog did not bark because the dog knew the murderer. IOW, dogs tend to bark around strangers, a territorial defense response.

IOW, kt is claiming Trump defending himself is evidence that the Dems' attack - interestingly, kt admitted that the Dems' video was an attack, something the Dems have implausibly denied - was effective.

Hey DUmb****; do you remember the last ILLEGAL order US Servicemen and women had to decide how to deal with? It really wasn't that long ago, so even a drug-addled DUmp'Rat imbecile like you should be able to remember it.

It was when #SpongeBrainShitPants ordered the entire US military to submit to "the Jab". Many servicemen and women refused that ILLEGAL order, were summarily discharged, and got absolutely ZERO support for their stance from Dim'Rats at any level.

You can **** off with your selective "illegal orders" poutrage, DUmp'Rat. **** all the way off...  :whatever:

The Democrats were implying that Trump was giving illegal orders. Otherwise, there’s no particular reason for them to have pointed out that the military doesn’t have to follow illegal orders. It’s already well-understood.

Democratic Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin admitted Sunday she couldn’t identify any illegal order having been issued by President Donald Trump when pressed by “This Week” host Martha Raddatz.

Slotkin and five other Democrats who served in the military or intelligence agencies appeared in a video urging fellow servicemembers to disregard “illegal” orders issued by Trump. Raddatz questioned Slotkin about her reasons for posting the video, which Trump called “sedition at the highest level” in a Truth Social post Saturday.

HI5!!

I've been reminding people of that since the treasonous and seditious donkey commie propaganda ad came out.

But good news for us, bad for anti-American democrats:

Pentagon:
OFFICIAL STATEMENT: The Department of War has received serious allegations of misconduct against Captain Mark Kelly, USN (Ret.). In accordance with the Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 688, and other applicable regulations, a thorough review of these allegations has been initiated to determine further actions, which may include recall to active duty for court-martial proceedings or administrative measures. This matter will be handled in compliance with military law, ensuring due process and impartiality.

Kelly ****ed Around, now he will Find Out.

I didn't serve and do not have first-hand knowledge, but as I suggested in another thread, not being obligated to follow illegal orders is probably taught in boot camp.

Anyone who has served knows and understand the UCMJ and gets classes on what constitutes Illegal orders. Unlike the Democrats, the US military swears an oath to the Constitution and not to a party or a President like thy do. It's clear what you can do and cannot do when it comes to following orders. I saw a person get Court martialed for not following order over the fact they didn't complete a road march. What happened was the person just dropped out of a road march and refused to continue on after being told to go after it was determined there was no reason for the person to stop participating in the road march as part of going through PLDC class. And **** you Kensuck.

Of course, everyone here knows that kentuck is stupid even by DU standards.

I've never served in the military (thanks to all of you who have), but even I know that it is actually a service member's duty to NOT follow an illegal order. If I, who have NOT served, know that then surely the ones who are currently serving knows that. So why did the DemonRat overlords make their little clip of sedition? That's simple: in an attempt to get service members to disobey ANY order that comes from Trump who the overlords are constantly saying is doing something wrong.

Oh, I never heard Trump call for any of the potential coup instigators to be executed. I'll appreciate any DemonRat overlord or brainless minion who can show me a video clip of Trump doing so.

forget kentuck, he is dumber than dirt, here's the real threats:

Mark Kelly has got to be the dumbest astronaut ever, and he only became a senator because of his wife getting shot by another moon bat and by voter fraud.  He wants to be VP next time, but Slutkin is even worse than the cue ball - she is being groomed for the 2028 nominee.

I used to have a much higher opinion of our astronauts, but when you have one of them in a video like that, and one a few years back who put on some diapers, left Houston in her car to drive to Florida to 'take out' her romantic rival ... you kind of lose the "put them on a pedestal" stance.
