This story could have been ripped straight out of a political thriller. But it’s not fiction; it’s one of the strangest, most revealing twists yet in the never-ending saga of how far some corners of the government were evidently willing to go to weaponize their authority against Donald Trump.

According to a newly uncovered pardon application that Nicholas Tartaglione, a disgraced former cop turned convicted murderer, filed, Jeffrey Epstein allegedly told him that federal prosecutors in New York dangled a deal that could have set Epstein free.

The condition? He would have to agree to implicate President Trump in Epstein’s crimes. Obviously, we know Trump was never involved in Epstein’s criminal activities, but that didn’t matter. According to Tartaglione, proof wasn’t required, just the accusation.

The New York Post obtained Tartaglione’s pardon application, which he filed back in July.

“Prosecutors… told Epstein that if he said President Trump was involved with Esptein’s crimes he would walk free. in a petition to be pardoned,” Tartaglione claims in the application. All Epstein supposedly had to do was say the words, and prosecutors, led by Maurene Comey, would give him his freedom.

Since Epstein's crap involved interstate transport of minor girls and pedos, this offer could only have been meaningful if LIEden's InJustice Department was in on this attempted subornation of perjury.

AKansas mayor has been charged with allegedly voting as a non-citizen in multiple elections.

Kansas Republican Secretary of State Scott Schwab and Attorney General Kris Kobach said Wednesday that they filed six charges in Comanche County against Coldwater Mayor Joe Ceballos, who is a lawful permanent resident from Mexico, for voting in elections in 2022, 2023, and 2024, the New York Post reported.

The mayor's charges include perjury and voting without being qualified, and carry a maximum penalty of more than five years in prison.

He's in the US legally, but that does not mean he has the right to vote.

BEIRUT (AP) — Israeli jets struck several towns in southern Lebanon on Thursday after urging residents to leave, marking an escalation in their near-daily strikes on the country.

The airstrikes came hours after militant group Hezbollah urged the Lebanese government not to enter negotiations with Israel.

Israeli Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee warned residents in Tayba near the border, Teir Debba located just east of the coastal city of Tyre, and Aita al-Jabal in southern Lebanon, to flee 500 meters (about 1,600 feet) away from residential buildings they are targeting, which they say have been used by Hezbollah. It later issued more warnings for the towns of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah and Kfar Dounin.

The Israeli military said it targeted military infrastructure for Hezbollah in those areas. It accused the group of rebuilding its capabilities almost a year after a U.S.-brokered ceasefire went into effect that ended a monthslong war. While most residents evacuated the threatened areas ahead of the strikes, Lebanon’s health ministry reported one person wounded.

“We will not allow Hezbollah to rearm themselves, to recover, build back up its strength to threaten the state of Israel,” Israeli government spokesperson Shosh Bedrosian said at a briefing Thursday.

The Supreme Court on Thursday reinstated the Trump administration’s mandate that passports must identify individuals by their biological sex.

The High Court paused a lower court’s ruling that blocked the passport policy from being implemented while it is adjudicated in the courts.

“Displaying passport holders’ sex at birth no more offends equal protection principles than displaying their country of birth – in both cases, the government is merely attesting to a historical fact without subjecting anyone to differential treatment,” the court said in an unsigned order.

Ford is considering scrapping the electric version of its F-150 pickup — once billed as the future of American trucks — after racking up billions in losses and watching demand collapse.

Executives are in active talks about axing the money-losing F-150 Lightning altogether, sources told the Wall Street Journal, in what could become the first major casualty of America’s faltering electric vehicle revolution.

The Lightning, launched with fanfare in 2021 and hailed by CEO Jim Farley as a ‘smartphone that can tow,’ was supposed to mark a new era for Ford. President Joe Biden even took one for a spin, calling it ‘quick as hell.’

But the hype faded fast. Mainstream truck buyers balked at the steep price tag — starting closer to $50,000 instead of the promised $40,000 — and worried about the trucks’ limited range, especially when towing or driving in cold weather.

In October, Ford sold just 1,500 Lightnings nationwide — the fewest of any F-Series model — compared with 66,000 gas-powered trucks. The company has lost around $13 billion on electric vehicles since 2023.

‘The demand is just not there,’ said Adam Kraushaar, owner of Lester Glenn Auto Group in New Jersey. ‘We don’t order a lot of them because we don’t sell them.’
