As they were talking to voters on MSNBC one woman said she likes Trump because he "gets things done". Like what? Killing people, destroying the economy, breaking laws, spending money on himself?

What does she think Congress is for? Democracy is rule by consensus, not fiat. She has no input into what goes into Trump's executive orders. In Congress, her representative is, ideally, making their constituents' voices heard.

I guess there was no civics course in Squalor Holler High School...

1. I am totally OK with military strikes against drug cartel smugglers.

2. In the world outside of milestogo's :stoner: , the US economy is doing very well.

3. Name a law Trump has broken. Cite the US Code provision by number.

4. milestogo gave no specifics, but if (s)he's alluding to the ballroom being built: 1. it's being paid for by private donations, not taxpayer $$$$; 2. it will be used for decades after Trump leaves office in January 2029. The ballroom should have been built years or decades ago; tents, temporary heaters/AC, and portacans are not what the US is.

Contrary to this DUmb stereotype, I don't get news from Fox. Many DUmmies, OTOH, get their news from MesSNBC and are shocked and go full poutrage when reality obstinately does not conform to Rachel's, Nika's, Marionette's, et al's proclamations.

Trump hasn't done anything?

Closed the border.
Done many trade deals and gotten trillions in commitments to build industry in America.
Ended eight wars.
DOGE
Started a great new ballroom.
Started shutting down the worthless Dept of Ed.
Cleaned up DC.
Got NATO countries to pony up 5% of GDP.
Destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities.

Just to name a few . . .
