I've been through 5 layoffs, so I have more experience with that and searching for jobs than I'd like. Most times of unemployment were a few weeks in duration, but the time between jobs after the 2000-2002 "Dot Bomb" was almost 9 months. I didn't apply for UEI right away, but after a month or two I did, and that is how I learned that UEI payments normally run for 6 months. If milestogo relied on UEI lasting 12 months, well, ignorance and stupidity have consequences.
Ordinarily I'd (s)he should go to retail, fast food, and such for survival jobs, but I would not want to encounter or work with a barista or French-fryer operator or store stocker with his/her attitude!
