If there's a nugget of truth in this fictional :bouncy: (doubtful), the children's parents are illegals who had been arrested and the officers came to the preschool, more or less certainly, with CPS social workers, to arrange care for the children.

IRL, ICE, etc., are rescuing trafficked children from their illegally present traffickers.

They wouldn't arrest children. They would take children into custody because the parents have also been taken into custody.

Which means - assuming this even happened - the school officials are separating the children from their parents.

Let's see, According to a thread on DU, there was an attempted kidnapping of preschoolers by ICE. And an inquiry was made wondering if the children were pre-sold or maybe just for stock. This Per your sister's boyfriend (slightly enhanced  to make your sister swoon) and after your sister edits to showcase her amazing (and really really super hot) boyfriend's herculean efforts  to save them (drama and human touch) the truth is finally exposed.
