Speaker Mike Johnson ??

Traitor or patriot?

Or something else?

In my opinion, he has the traits of a Benedict Arnold. He has betrayed his office and his country.

He is either incompetent and unqualified for the position he holds or else, he is well aware of what he is doing to this nation and doesn't give a damn.

He is third in line to the presidency. The Speaker of the House is a powerful position. But he has abdicated everything to a corrupt and dangerous executive whose unpredictability should alarm every American.

He has stood by as the President bombs boats off the coast of Venezuela, without any provocation it seems? They say they are carrying drugs but they offer no evidence. They just kill them.

He stands by, with all of Congress, as the same Executive tears down the entire East Wing of the White House. Just brings in a wrecking ball and demolishes it - along with all the history of that cherished house of the people.

MAGA Mike Johnson is a disgrace to this country and should be tried for treason, in my opinion.

I could check, but I'm pretty sure that the definition of treason in Article III, Section 3 of the US Constitution does not include, "Acts contrary to Democrat-ick Party desires."

Treason is defined in the Consitution as "levying War against [The United States], or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

You're here to tell us you think Speaker Mike Johnson is a traitor, and the best argument you could come up with is that Trump is having drug boats destroyed, and renovating the White House?

Well, those probably are drug boats (I have yet to hear any claims of innocents dying), and there presence shouldn't be tolerated. Their provocation is that they smuggle drugs into our country.

And as for the White House, the idea of adding a ballroom has been around for ages. The White House changes sometimes. Deal with it.

kt is lying. The East Wing is not part of the White House, historically or architecturally. The first East Wing was built in 1902, connected to the WH with a corridor. In 1942, FDR demolished that East Wing and replaced it with the current East Wing. While there was a small theater in what FDR built, the East Wing was mostly offices - never residence space - probably with inadequate power, several layers of network cabling (due to decades of computer network technology changes), and climate control.

Besides intel whose sources the WH won't reveal for grossly obvious reasons, the USN and Coast Guard know how to discern between the moderate performance of fishing boats and the high performance boats smugglers use. Had LIEden or OhBummer! taken out these smugglers' crafts kt and other Dems/Progs would have praised their genius and courage to the skies.
