Beautiful day, great turnout (no idea how many people but a big crowd, spread across a park and into streets), joyful vibe, with unicorns, dinosaurs, sharks, frogs, axolotls, oompah-loompahs, and excellent signs! There were bands, singers and a number of speakers, including Sen. Tina Smith, but unfortunately I couldn't hear her speech; I was too far away from the sound system and there was a noisy helicopter. There was also a march through downtown after the rally, but my old knees had started to complain so I didn't stay for that. Here are some photos:

Stuck on stupid DUmmies in the wild. One thing I noticed was there is zero individualism at this pile of crap rally. They all look the same, sound the same, and all have the same stupid slogans on the signs.

The left says President Trump hates colored people but one thing I noticed was a lack of colored people, as in zero, at this temper tantrum.

I don't understand. Am I watching a political protest, or an elementary school Halloween party?

There is one accurate sign, though: "This is ****ing ricidulous". Yes, this (your "protest") is ridiculous.

yeah I was curious too about why grown adults are dressing up as frogs, sharks, ompa lompas and dinosaurs.

WRT the first sign in the DUmmie OP, it refers to the anti-Vietnam War protesters who naively and/or malevolently got hundreds of thousands of decent Vietnamese people killed, imprisoned, or forced into exile in countries where they didn't speak the country's language and started from less than scratch. The a-hole sign-holder can go GFY.

I will note there did not appear to be any violence at any of these rallies and due to that, there were no cops shooting tear gas or rubber bullets.  No national guard needed.  Nothing.

I wonder if that has taught those who attended anything?  Will they understand what the takeaway is?

Not from the same protest, but more of a point than all the others put together.  (He was wrong about "there's no up there to be smiling down from" but pretty on the nose the rest of the time)
