All that needs to happen to end the Schumer Schutdown is for the Dems to accept a continuance of the prior year's spending (with adjustment for inflation).

I hope it is a long and painful Schumer Shutdown for the Democrat party, which will only be resolved when Chuckie grows a pair (too late, I know) and bends the knee to President Trump and Senate majority leader Thune.

There are so many issues that could very easily be swapped into that cartoon.  Federal power and control, "get the government out of our bedroom" gay rights slippery sloping all the way off any moral foundation, "they just want a better life" to millions of illegals clogging our courts, job markets, housing markets, schools, emergency rooms, just to name a few.

I don't fear that it will be a long federal government shutdown. I HOPE THAT IT IS A LONG FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN.

The longer it is the more "non essential" federal government paycheck takers can be RIFed. It will be glorious. Not furloughed.  Not laid off. But FIRED WITH PREJUDICE. 85% WILL BE A NICE STARTING POINT.

Also the longer the federal government is shutdown the more the people of America will notice that 90% of it is not needed and is nothing but a huge parasite on them. That should scare the bejeebers out of the democrat party.

I believe the DemonRats also want "funding" back for their propaganda arm (NPR and PBS). Some of what I've heard on NPR almost makes some of the DUmmies seem like moderates. and PBS.
