Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California told “CNN News Central” co-host Kate Bolduan on Monday that House Democrats planned to go after private citizens working with the Trump administration after the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey.

A federal grand jury indicted Comey on charges of lying to Congress and obstruction on Thursday over testimony given during a September 2020 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. Swalwell expressed confidence Democrats would take control of the House in the 2026 midterm elections.

“Well, first, we’re making it clear that we’re going into the majority a year from now,” Swalwell told Bolduan. “We have every intention to do that, and so we will bring oversight, accountability, we will subpoena the Department of Justice, but also private actors who have done these drug deals with the administration, college campuses, entertainment companies, law firms and so accountability is coming.”

The DNC caucus has so many below-average IQs in their ranks these days, that I don't think Hank Johnson (D-Georgia) could make that top 10 any more. He has at least demonstrated enough intelligence lately to keep his jaybird mouth from running away with his hummingbird arse. That's something...

Sometimes it is difficult to tell if someone is just f*cking dumb or they are just playing highly partisan politics. Pelosi isn't dumb, she's partisan. A0C, while she does a lot of smart performative influencer type-stuff (which I don't give a damn about) is really stupid intellectually. As is her acolyte Jasmine Crockett, who is both playing for social media cred and dumb as a box of rocks.

A Senator who baffles me as to how she can breathe is Maize Hirono. On the original IQ scale (which has been discredited by academia), she would register somewhere in the imbecile or moron category.

Congressional Dems have a few oldsters in that range, e.g. Mad Maxine. Swillwell, Schifftyroo, and Lieu are continuing that tradition, and AOC and Crockett look to be extending it into decades to come.
