No one has more of an unhealthy fixation on firearms, than the people who blame firearms when one is unlawfully misused.

You mean when the news tells me Trump is bad, and can't even report good news relating to Trump's administration without qualifiers, I shouldn't trust them, right?

I size the size of my block of salt according to the topic of the report. If the news story is about an earthquake near Kamchatka, a fairly small grain; about "bad news for Trump", a Himalayan-sized block. With conservative outlets, sadly, I am very wary of hype, exaggeration, and my own confirmation bias.
