I am *so* done and overwhelmed... Don't know what to DO with my freakin life
I have been trying to get SOMETHING off the ground with my Certification in Sound Therapy... bad time to try to launch anythng, I get it. No bites, nibbles, nothing... even made a retreat that I thought would have people chomping at the bit.

I'm sure there's marketing mistakes I am making, and I will have to address that tomorrow when I am fresh in the morning.

For now, I have "positive-thought" myself into a hole. Kept waiting for the breakthrough or something to happpen and make some money, even enough to keep myself afloat for a minute. Now I am down to literally the last few bucks in my posession...
To top it all off, the stupid car I bought decided to go belly u and I had to get towed home from my dr appt today. Got NO idea how to fix it.

So I'm scrambling to find anything remote, or i don't know...a ****in miracle?

I applied for a Home Equity thing, but I got no $$ or job to ay anything back so I have no idea if it will even fly.
Put some more of the stuff River (the horrific ex) bought on marketplace... at least the adjustable bed should be worth something... but no bites there either.

Today I sat and cried in the parking lot of the hospital. many reasons but one of the BIG ones is that I have nobody to turn to for advice or help. Mom and Dad are gone... I wish I could even call my Dad and tell h8im what's happening to the car and hear his advice... (So add a dose of grief on top of all this)

I know I have been taking care of myself and being the adult. But what If I am just making all the wrong choices? Nobody is coming to rescue me.

Can't get food stamps or anything as long as I own a home. Can't go to the food bank without a car. Can't even get a damn job without a car.. (Rural mountain town has NO transit out here in the county)

So I am trying to eat something and laying down - can't think of anything else right now. I'm tapped and have now more ****s to give.
At least I have half a bag of rice and stuff in the freezer to keep me going for a minute.
It's just so frustrating when I have done SOOOO much work to get this far and heal the trauma of last October ... Where's my ****ing miracle? Been praying to my Angels and telling them I need a breakthrough NOW

I wonder what this DUmmie paid for the "Certification in Sound Therapy"?  And why did it think people would be chomping at the bit to attend a Drum Circle or to get a chance to give this DUmmie money for an Oracle Card reading?

Sounds like this DUmmie needs to realize the marketing to get it to part with money to get a Certification in Sound Therapy, was better than the marketing this DUmmie is trying to use to sell its 'services.'   

Some of these people will do absolutely anything to get out of having a real job and acting like an adult.

The first reply to the post offers up some 'Woo' advice ... which the OP seems to take a shine to.  You should go look at the site, it's a hoot!

One common thing I noticed about DUmmie woe is me car stories.

They always have the non functioning car towed home not to a repair facility.  If they want it repaired they will have to tow it a second time.

If? Mockery of her faux-Native-American pantheism aside, she chose to live in a remote area with no transportation or source of income ... and apparently having no friends in the area while espousing ideas most ordinary people would find off-putting. She's in a hole of her own digging and siting.

Or you could try the 4 5 6 method. At the Fictional Spirit-Guide University they really focus on that method, and it has a near 100% success rate. Granted, it can be difficult for some people to follow it.

The name "4 5 6" comes partially from it being a simple easy to remember natural numeric progression, but mostly because it signifies the number of letters in each word of its instruction. I believe it in it enough that I promise you, on my word as a semi-retired fictional spirit-guide, that it will help you IF you actually follow it.

She's studied with elders and learned sacred practices passed down from indigenous peoples from both North and South America. Her study of philosophy, science, and sacred practices has given her a uniue view on our current state as an ever evolving Human Community.

In the real world, she's probably read books, mostly penned by non-POC westerners, purporting to tell of the spiritual practices of "indigenous peoples from both North and South America". Too bad her learning doesn't include barista and fryolator training.

BTW, her website does not conform to one of the most fundamental rules of thumb for a business website: either put all your contact info on the main page, in a clearly linked "Contact Me" page, or both.

Wow! I finally checked out her info.

Isn’t it interesting that they want everything to be “free”, but she wants to charge $100 to go to her little woo-woo to-do?

My bad, I just noticed that she also offers “guided meditation” and “shamanic drumming”. If any of that is offered during the "retreat" it's probably well worth the $100. You see, most folks only offer regular drumming, but she’s giving you the first-class version with SHAMANIC drumming. Then to top things off, and to show she’s at the top of her game in her field(?), she also offers “Basics of Grounding and Self-Work Classes”. Damn, she ought to be rolling in the dough with those offerings.

And to think that I fictionally spirit-guided those clowns pro-bono for years.

According to her bio info on her site she has lived in the Tahoe area for some 30 years. Somehow, in those 30 years, she has not managed to find friends who will help her in her current troubles? Or maybe how many former friends did she cut off for voting for GWB or Trump? Or maybe did she wear out her welcome with friends helping her by her looniness and improvidence?

NE CA does not lack for refried hippies. They also gravitate to the mountains between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz. There are also some great people in NE CA, e.g. the YWAM base in Richardson Hot Springs (near Chico) and the churches, community centers, and volunteers who aided people who had to flee the town of Paradise during that fire.
