We watch my daughter's dog while she's at work, which we love to do because the dog is such a sweetheart and has so much personality. She also has an amazing coat. She's an Anatolian shepherd. No matter how many times we pet her, we can't help but comment about how soft and plush she is.
Wife: Oh my goodness! She's like a cuddly stuffed toy! 🤗
Me: I know! Right? It's like a little girl was all alone in the world and all she had was her toy stuffed dog which she loved so much she just held on to it all the time. And then one snowy night she wished so hard for her dog to be real so she could could truly love it, a fairy godmother appeared and told the little girl that because she had learned the true spirit of Christmas, her wish would be granted. And then years later an older woman asked a London police detective why he kept a stuffed toy dog behind his desk and he answers her that he found it clutched in the arms of a homeless orphan girl who had succumb to the elements one Christmas night and while he found the entire matter to be desperately tragic, he was struck by how the little girl had an almost serene smile on her face, so he decided to preserve the toy in her memory.
