Posting on Truth Social Tuesday morning, President Donald Trump accused California Democratic Senator Adam Schiff of committing mortgage fraud.

"I have always suspected Shifty Adam Shiff was a scam artist. And now I learn that Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division have concluded that Adam Schiff has engaged in a sustained pattern of possible Mortgage Fraud. Adam Schiff said that his primary residence was in MARYLAND to get a cheaper mortgage and rip off America, when he must LIVE in CALIFORNIA because he was a Congressman from CALIFORNIA," Trump said.

"I always knew Adam Schiff was a Crook. The FRAUD began with the refinance of his Maryland property on February 6, 2009, and continued through multiple transactions until the Maryland property was correctly designated as a second home on October 13, 2020. Mortgage Fraud is very serious, and CROOKED Adam Schiff (now a Senator) needs to be brought to justice," he continued.

Last year Schiff was hit with an ethics complaint over allegations he committed mortgage fraud.

President Donald Trump demanded on Tuesday that California Democrat Sen. Adam Schiff be “brought to justice” following allegations of mortgage fraud tied to his Maryland property. The statement came after a federal housing agency reportedly referred the matter to the Justice Department for a criminal investigation into Schiff’s real estate dealings.

These aren’t wild allegations plucked from thin air; the evidence is pretty clear.

According to records, Schiff claimed his main residence was a spacious 3,420 square foot home in Maryland, a move that conveniently secured him better mortgage rates — rates designed for people who actually reside in those homes as their principal dwelling. Simultaneously, he grabbed a homeowner’s exemption on a much smaller 650 square foot condo in Burbank, Calif., handing himself a tidy cut of about $7,000 off his tax bill by also insisting that the property was his “primary residence.” Two homes, both allegedly his principal residence, in two different states, reaping benefits from both ends. Is that some kind of bureaucratic miracle? Or a calculated abuse of the system he’s sworn to oversee?

Schiff’s own paperwork — mortgage forms, exemption claims, and that curious personal check he used to pay California property taxes (listing his Maryland address, no less) — tells a story of someone playing the system with both hands. Adding insult to injury, Schiff only made that personal check payment once, in 2017.

The evidence is serious enough that a senior administration official confirmed to The New York Post that the Federal Housing Finance Agency, responsible for overseeing Fannie Mae, has submitted a criminal referral to the Justice Department, calling for a full investigation.

“It is extremely serious and [Schiff] is not taking it seriously,” the official told the Post. The source added that Schiff had a criminal count for each time he paid his monthly mortgage.

Much as I despise Schifftyroo, all I want is that the same process and, if convicted, the same consequences I would receive be applied to Schifftyroo. No more two-tier justice!

Adam Schiff Being Investigated for Being a Maryland Man

I've done a bit of work here covering New York's State Attorney General Letitia James and the several hot real estate irons she has in the fire, between a townhouse in Brooklyn and a little bungalow in Virginia. Thanks to the hard work of accounting sleuth Sammy Antar, all of these properties have serious, documented issues with paperwork. The problems are leading to serious questions about both James' culpability for what might be errors, but also question her eligibility to hold office in light of stringent NY state residency requirements and what her Virginia homeowner's paperwork says.

It's all the more ironic because the VA property issues are exactly what James cooked up a case on Donald Trump over. So it's going to be fun watching all of this shake out, and the scrambling to protect her is underway.

What's kind of wild is how another of the most vocal, deranged, and sanctimonious of the Trump haters has also just been fingered as possibly being cut from that exact mendacious real estate cloth - the newly minted Senator from California, none other than Adam Schiff.

The walls are finally closing in on Adam Schiff, and this time it's not some manufactured scandal or political theater. On Tuesday, Fannie Mae's Financial Crimes Division flagged Schiff for alleged mortgage fraud, and reports quickly confirmed that a criminal referral had been sent to the Department of Justice. Back in 2023, reports surfaced that Schiff had claimed a $1.7 million Maryland home as his "primary residence" on federally-insured loan documents. This wasn't some innocent paperwork error; it was a calculated move to secure a lower mortgage rate by lying about where he actually lived. The problem? Schiff has been a California politician representing Burbank since 2003, and you can't hold elected office in the Golden State if your primary residence is actually in Maryland.

Naturally, the Biden administration wasn’t going to pursue this, and the case disappeared into the bureaucratic ether. No surprise there — the same Justice Department that spent years pursuing Trump on increasingly absurd charges somehow couldn't find the time to investigate one of their own party's most prominent attack dogs. But those days of selective enforcement are over.

But here's where this story gets absolutely devastating for Schiff. A newly unearthed video shows the senator making statements that completely obliterate any possible defense he might have had. In the footage, Schiff states unequivocally: "But our principal residence, our primary residence, is in California. It always has been, always will be."

The legal implications are staggering. If Schiff's primary residence was "always" in California, as he stated, then he committed fraud when he claimed the Maryland property as his primary residence to secure better loan terms. There's no wiggle room here, no plausible explanation that squares these contradictory claims.

Two huge questions:

1. Will Trump's Justice Department have the political courage to ignore the Dems' and their MSM shills' flak storm of lies and misrepresentation to actually prosecute Schifftyroo?

2. If yes, will Trump's Justice Department act promptly and decisively enough to overcome Schifftyroo's attempts to delay his prosecution, trial, and (if found guilty) sentencing into the next Presidential Administration who he would hope will be Dem and would take a dive on the case?
